“Excellent food with great taste! For people who are hungry, I recommend being prepared to wait a little, since the dishes are prepared instantly, it is really worth the wait, very cold beers and excellent service… first time in the place and I would gladly repeat when I return. to Philadelphia. On Valentine's Day they were dedicated to attention where they welcomed us with glasses of red wine and decoration for the moment.“
“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican, and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“
“We loved Bolo! The Puerto Rican focused food was unique and delicious, the cocktails were great, and the service was wonderful. Our favorite part of the meal was when Chef Fuentes came out to the dining room and we were able to ask him some questions about the food while congratulating him on his recent James Beard nomination. We loved everything we ate — bacalitos were super special, panza pincho was melt in your mouth, and the pasteles de Cordero were so tasty!! We will definitely be back with friends next time so we can try more dishes!“
“Spectacular for what it is. It’s Guatemalan street food served with style but without affectation. I had the chicken taquitos, which were crispy, hot, and served in a very distinctive sauce. It’s presumably slightly more expensive than real street food just as it is fancier, but it’s hardly pricey. I just wish their portions were slightly larger.“
“If you haven't been here you are missing out!!!!! This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Philly. The prices are so fair and the portions are large. The salsa are drinkable. I have tried almost the entire menu at this point and they don't miss.“
“This was my first excursion into the cuisine of Latin America, but more like Latin fusion. If your palette craves new experiences, Paladar is an amusement park of tasteful indulgences with flavors, smells and tastes that delight. We were so taken that we all shared our dishes with, "Oh, wow! You gotta try this!" From starters to entres to desserts to mixed drinks, our first time won Paladar many return visits. From the ambiance to the enthusiastic wait staff to the amazing speed in which the entres were served, Bravo Paladar. You did it right!Vegetarian options: Hardly any true vegetarian options.Parking: Depending on when you get there, parking can be hard to find as choice spots fill up at dinner hour and prolly worse Fridays and Saturdays. To save time, park at Wegmans and walk a minute or two to Paladar.“
“Sara crafts the most delicious Margaritas that are simply irresistible. I highly recommend making a reservation to secure your spot. The spiced beef nachos were not only delicious but also generously portioned; I suggest sharing them with a friend.Don't miss out on this vegan culinary delight!“
“Great spot! I came here for the first time last night and will definitely be back again. I ordered a half chicken, mashed potatoes and fried rice (as my sides). The food was delicious with lots of flavor. There was an older Spanish guy that worked the register (I didn't catch his name). He was so nice and welcoming. I didn't know what to order and he helped me with the menu. Hopefully, the owner reads this review and gives him a raise because he really knows how to treat customers good. The prices are reasonable too. I didn't think it would be enough food for two people but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to try other items on the menu!“
“yikes ! I probably stole the recipe for nacho fries ? . However , they exceeded my expectations on food, atmosphere, and customer service. I’ll probably order food from them once a month. From the Tacos , The Mexican nacho fries I enjoyed everything in h menu & I made sure to check out everything before I left a review. This will probably be my second review ever on Google lol but this place definitely deserves it. They are five star maybe six star Michelin Worthy“
“I was there yesterday and got 2 gringo tacos with steak & sour cream. I think I was overcharged, as the menu price was $8 and my total came to $12.19. I understand that there would be tax and an upcharge for the sour cream (which I never got) but $4+ more than advertised seems like a lot. Other than that, the service was friendly and the food was great.“
“This has been my Spanish food place for at least 7 years now. I remember when it was a convenience store that sold food in the back now they have converted the whole store into a restaurant. The owners are pretty cool they know me by face, that to say one day I forgot my wallet and she just let me take the food and just paid the next time I was in there. FYI they open early and by 1pm they start getting ready to close, or the food has been sold out TRUST ME so get there early.“
“I'm Colombian born and raised. Food was tasty and fresh. Soup was very authentic and hot which I really appreciate, (there is nothing worse than a cold soup), I'm a picky rice eater since it is my favorite food and they surprised me because it was actually really good, it reminded me of my childhood back in Colombia. Service was also great, the server was really nice and helped us identify what we really wanted from the menu. Overall an outstanding experience thanks so much!“
