“pretty solid sandwiches. they never put very much meat at all but ive just asked for more and theyve given it. their black forest ham is delicious, and i love the italian bread. lots of nice snacks to choose from as well, cookies, chips, etc. also smells really good in there and its usually pretty empty so eating in isnt a bad option. only thing that holds it back is having to ask for extra meat and telling them to chill on the condiments, besides that its great“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“10/10 … Possibly the BEST take out Cheesesteak in the area. The Guru did not disappoint .. the Cooper Sharp alone was fantastic along with the Steak, long hots, and pepperoni … will be be returning .. frequently“

“Absolutely delicious! We got 2 Italians and the breakfast burrito, as a Jersey girl the pork roll was top notch. Italian was excellent as well, obsessed with the flavor from the arugula and onions. Good portions for price. Couldn’t afford a tip but would if we could, much deserved!!!!!!“

“Was craving cheese fries and heard Poe’s has great ones. Can confirm the cheese sauce itself was very tasty. I wish the fries were crispier, they seemed like natural hand cut fries but got too soggy. Some sogginess is expected with hot gooey cheese on top, but I’ve had crispier.

“I went here because I heard they had decent gluten free rolls. But having a long day, I forgot to ask for the gluten free for my husband until it was all made. They saw the look on my face when I realized MY mistake and jumped to it said no problem and remade the sandwich with new gloves and utensils so there would be no cross contamination. Everyone was super friendly from the moment I walked in. Our sandwiches was delicious and my husband was so happy to actually get a real sub and not worry about getting sick.“

“I stopped in to get a two foot or as Primos calls them a whole audiablo hoagie. I grabbed chips soda and a dessert. It was all fresh delicious and moderately priced. Primos costs a little more than your average hoagie shop but the quality is more than worth it. Fresh baked rolls and generous amounts of Thurman's quality deli meats and just the right amount of fresh vegetables. I highly recommend this place if you want quality delicious hoagies.“
