My personal favorite is her sweet onions and bacon dog, and her chili with potato sticks. Sounds odd I know, but trust me...she has so many unique toppings to make any combo. Then my other fav is an open faced loaded knish. She also does burgers, and baked potatoes, and thee BEST CUP OF CHILI!!! RUN, DONT WALK!!! YOU'LL BE HOOKED.“

“This place was amazing as soon as you enter your agreed by the owner all the food is fresh and homemade. I recommend getting the cheesesteak sandwich or any pasta with one of his homemade sauces. I highly recommend the rigatoni with Brandy sauce. Amazing. Will definitely be back.“

“My sister told me about her local go-to for tacos. I tried the 3 tacos de birria. It was absolutely delicious. Sizeable portion (I was full with 2) and it came with a consome that you could dip the tacos.

Also, the owner is so kind. She wrote a get well note for my mom on her order. I had mentioned that had been sick.

Before leaving the area, I am heading back for another order. Definitely recommend.“

They arrived early to set up, respected the parking spaces and cleaned up as if nobody was ever there. That was just the start, the literal meat and potatoes were incredible! There's something special about having Colombian empanadas made by someone who understands that not everyone can eat the same thing. Chava's provided gluten free, vegan AND vegetarian options, which made all of the employees extremely happy. It's rare to find a food truck that can cater to that many dietary restrictions and Chava's made it work. Employees were in love with the empanadas and the choices offered, so much so that some people even snuck back in line for 2nds (and 3rds). “My Co worker and I went to the restaurant in Scotch Plains. The service was excellent. I ordered the loaded fries with chicken and shrimp it's delicious. When you walk in it's very welcoming from the color scheme to the paintings on the wall literally. The wings are phenomenal. I will definitely be returning.“

“Found the spot by accident just searching the area I was for a hot dog spot, old school food truck in the parking lot of the American Legion plenty of parking. I had the chili dog with onions and cheese and a dog with mustard and kraut, the chili cheese dog was very good the chili was tasty the cheese was a cheese sauce of some kind and the sauerkraut was delicious Price is Right I enjoyed it. Also as there is no seating there I ate it in my vehicle while it was nice and hot he wraps the dogs up in wax paper perfectly there was no mess from the chili or the cheese or even the sauerkraut I was able to eat them in my vehicle nice and warm and not make a mess Kudos Sal!!“
