The woman helping me at the window was extremely nice and honestly beyond generous manners. I could not recommend this place enough also has a nice beautiful seating outside not only do they have hotdog but they have chicken, fish, pastrami, macaroni, salad, etc..

“Dog Day is a truly special place and the reason I moved to the neighborhood. I otherwise consider myself a vegetarian of 8 years. These hot dogs are divine any time of the year, but here’s my advice:

On a crisp fall day, don’t eat until 2pm. Have two Chicago dogs and a milkshake, then walk through the park. A cure-all.

Last October I had a great conversation with a zombie witch who shared my table. It told me to always, always answer when I hear the hot dogs calling. Sometimes I hear the dog’s call ringing through Greenwood Cemetery treetops at night and I have to wait up all night in a cold sweat praying for noon to arrive.“

“Full street food vibes. The Korean hot dogs were amazing: crispy, cheesy, and totally worth the wait. The setup is simple (order at the kiosk, one person running the show), so expect about 10–15 minutes, but it fits the street vendor feel. No seating inside, and it gets a little hot without AC, but you can grab your food and enjoy it at a nearby park. Authentic, tasty, and a must-try.“

“Hot dog itself seems like it's deep fried so the skin is crisp while the inside stays juicy, with great pork flavor. The bun is pretty normal which seems like a waste when so much effort is put into the hot dog and toppings. Restaurant gets pretty loud and crowded with all the speakeasy customers but we were able to find a seat even on Saturday night.

The hot dogs are on the smaller side so you can have one as a light meal or combine it with tater tots. Splitting two hot dogs and a side of loaded tater tots between two people is good for a full meal.

Lil Ma hot dog - was intrigued by the peanut butter and it paired pretty well with the acidity of the pickles
Elote hot dog - not as impressed by this one but good if you like the toppings included
Nacho tater tots - reminds me of something you'd make at late night in a college dining hall and really hits the spot after a long day of walking around NYC“

“I 1st became aware of this place from a reel that I seen where some guy was complaining about the price. The way the employee handled it by offering to give it to him free of charge and he could come back and pay if he enjoyed it really intrigued me. Made me think these must be spectacular hot dogs and he knows it. So I took the 5 hour 250 mile round trip from my home to see for myself. Well these dogs were just amazing 🤩 perfect snap on the dog and the chili was just spectacular. The two women that were working the counter were simply wonderful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back. I would have to say they’re in my top 3 hot dog joints. “Got the half mozzarella, half beef dog with the potato coating and it hit the spot. Super crispy on the outside, cheesy and juicy on the inside. It is one of those things where you take a bite and immediately want another.

“I got the B4 burger which was sexy and glorious. Portioned to perfection. My only qualms were with the wings. A bit dry for me and they weren’t tossed in the sauce as the sauce lay at the bottom of the packaging.

“I don’t know why this isn’t rated higher. This is an insanely good burger joint. The burger is savory and perfectly sauced with just a hint of pepperyness on the sauce that brings out a ton of flavor. The fries were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

The staff are super friendly and fun! The music is great. Seltzer water from the fountain machine!

“It’s my first time trying here. I bought chicken pita wrap. It’s delicious, halal and very reasonably priced (8$). Portion is not big, so it’s better for somebody who wants a quick meal-snack. The hot sauce is really hot, don’t underestimate!“

“Shake Shack is located in an outdoor mall that has lots of vacant shops. Air conditioning was nice on a hot day. Their fries are very yummy, had a hamburger and a lemonade too. All good. Food took a while to come out but we had the time to wait.“

The menu is a fun blend of flavors, and it feels like a Colombian-Mexican fusion spot. We ordered the sopes, La Diabla burger, and salchipapa — all packed with flavor and served hot. The La Diabla had a spicy kick, but still balanced, and the salchipapa brought back memories of Colombian street food. The burger named Gamina definitely caught my eye — a name that feels very Colombian and adds character to the menu.

They even have Colombian-flavored ice cream, which is a nice touch and adds to the fusion vibe of the place.

“My kid wanted burger and fries for her birthday on March 9th. We were 2 Adults and 3 children. We spent approximately $140. The burgers could’ve use some seasoning but overall it was ok. There were plenty of options, including chicken and veggie. The fries are hand cut. The manager Raven was friendly and attentive. She made her rounds visiting the tables to check on each customer. The other workers were also patient and friendly. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the food. We were too busy eating we forgot to take pictures.
