“We have been coming to Piccolinos Restaurtant in Bayonne for years. My father loved the veal and the great service our family received from the staff. It would only be fitting to host his repass there and when we called Byron to let him know he passed, he quickly helped my family with arrangements to host our family and friends in their private room. The food was cooked to order, absolutely delicious and the service our family and friends received from the staff was impeccable! Mostly everyone had to try the his favorite dish, the" veal martini" and loved it. The Wanko family would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks to Byron, Jackie, Angelo, Juan Carlos, David, Yahir for their outstanding service to attention and delicious menu cooked to order on such a sad occassion. They truly made our friends and family know why we "love" Piccolino's and why this is surely the best Italian Restaruant and staff in Bayonne.“

Let me tell you, for the affordable prices, the quality of the food blew us away. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for cozy, elevated, and with great vibes all around. We kept it classic with a rosé and a Hugo Spritz (both so refreshing), for starters we got the mussels in tomato sauce, and for dinner we ordered the lamb chops and the Adour burger with truffle fries - absolutely to die for. “Stopped by for some takeout before heading back to Brooklyn and was presently surprised. The shop is no frills basic Chinese and Japanese takeout. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.“

The staff went the extra mile to get the item from another dominoes location, and delivered our meal in less than an hour. Whether it's take out or dine in, the food and service is always consistent. Yes, they're still BYOB and yes, you can redeem a free Bayonne roll with a certain purchase when dining in.

The restaurant is cozy and a bit small with under 10 tables I would say. It can get busy but I've never visited when there was a line out the door. Majority of customers order for take out here.

“I moved to Bayonne 12 years ago and I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times. So many other pizza restaurants come highly regarded so I never really gave La Guardiola a try. I do have a few “go to” spots in town for pizza and wings night. After recent disappointments with food quality, customer service, and bad delivery experiences, I was ready to try something new. We were really hungry so I searched for a close by restaurant with decent pizza and wings menu options and La Guardiola fit the bill. We ordered a Margherita Pizza with Plain Wings. The food arrived fast, fresh, and hot, so I was already happy. The pizza looked amazing and so did the wings. The wings were huge, crispy, and well seasoned. Hands down my new favorite wings in Bayonne. The pizza was good. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side where I like my sauce a bit more on the salty side but it was really tasty and the crust had a nice crisp to it. I am looking forward to trying other menu items in the future but La Guardiola is now my new “Go To” for pizza and wings night. So good!“

“Delicious pizza, fast service, and unbeatable prices. Pizza Masters is a humble neighborhood establishment serving up slices that can compete with the heavyweights - Scarrs, Joe’s, and Roberta’s. The pizza had a great char and aromatic sauce. Incredibly cheesy! The pepperoni rolls were a showstopper (and heart-stopper) — the acidity from the marinara perfectly cuts through the gooey, scalding mozzarella.

The Sicilian slice was not the best. Very doughy with powdery cheese — similar to Domino’s. Stick to the classic thin slices. The cheesecake was disappointing as well: sandy, gritty, and not very sweet or rich. It’s Pizza Masters, not Cheesecake Factory.

Two slices, two root beers, and a slice of cheesecake only came out to $13 total!“

I usually pick up but get delivery now and then. The lentil soup, Tuscan salad and pizza are my favorites! Other pizza places add pieces of topping that look like confetti. At Fontana you get nice size pieces of the mushrooms, onions, peppers, etc.“

We ordered cheese steaks which we both enjoyed.
We also ordered Shrimp Scampi to take out, which was tasty, but just a bit too much butter.

Fried rice was tasty, I'd definitely order it again. The rolls were so fresh, and added a little extra something I haven't seen in other places.
