“We are not from the area but this place caught my eye as we were driving past. So we stopped in and picked up a pre-made ice cream cake out of their case to celebrate a family birthday.
This cake was fantastic!
They offer both a small and a large round. After some thought I opted for the large one despite us only being 10 people. It proved to be the right decision because everyone wanted a second piece. (My advice is go bigger)
Their cake is better then a normal ice cream cake in every way. The quality of the ice cream, a surprise layer of regular vanilla cake, a thin layer of fudge AND the chocolate crunchies inside. Just MMMMMM
Overall, we were delighted that we took the Yellow Brick Road.“

This is the most amazing ice cream.... Fresh and soft. Lots of flavors and the waffle cone was fresh. The staff is really friendly and even at 1057 pm a family pulled up and with a smile they welcomed them. I don't live in the area but I will absolutely be back.“
“I ordered a custom icecream for a special occasion. Cake was made exactly to my request, everything from the different layers, icecream flavors, & toppings. Everyone enjoyed the cake and asked, where is the icecream cake from? If you have a peanut butter lover in your life, I highly recommend this peanut butter themed icecream cake. Aside from this custom order, we are regular customers. The icecream sundaes are our favorite. You always get good portions (scoops) served. The medium is almost too much for me. That's a good thing. Chocolate Chip Mint, Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, and topped with M & Ms is my favorite. This review is for the Lanoka Harbor, NJ location.“

I've gotten their donuts and now their Banana Foster's Sundae.Was the perfect treat.Staff was very neighborly and familial with the customers.They just shifted to summer hours so they'll be open all day through summer. “We stopped on the way home from Island beach state park. The crew that worked here were super super friendly and nice. The ice cream was one of the best I've ever had. We'll for sure stop again next time we go to island beach state park or maybe we'll just take a ride there anyway it was worth it. Shout out to the employees they were great

“I believe this is Salty's Ice Cream. If so, best ice cream in the Lavallette area! The prices are MUCH more reasonable than everyone else around and you get a HUGE serving. The Cappuccino Crunch ice cream is one of the best ice creams I have ever had!“

“We were so happy to see that this Friendly's was still open. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was extra melty and the bread was nicely grilled. We missed the cheese crust that they used to have. The fried clams were fresh in the clam platter and we liked the red skin potatoes. The fully loaded waffle fries were yummy. Great comfort food. And of course the sundaes are always the best part. Our server Kyle was very attentive and was very nice. We hope this Friendly's is able to stay open.“
