“If you show me a scrapple/egg/cheese sandwich on a menu, I don’t need to see the rest. Or maybe I can’t. Came here on a training day with a crew from work. Ordered my sandwich, if only to compare to my local spot. Afterall, what does Jersey know about scrapple?They frikkin know, bud. And the Kaiser roll. I didn’t know bread could be like that. I’ve had pudding stiffer than that bread. It was like a cloud, filled with the melty cheese and juices of the runny scrambled eggs I didn’t expect or know that I needed in my life! The meat! Don’t tell my local place but, soft, thick, moist and piping hot Looking forward to more random DOT drug testing right around the corner from here on benigno. Would otherwise be a rare occasion for me to be in this area, which is my loss.One coworker did mention he asked for cherry pepper relish, and was told that isn’t available because the owner doesn’t like it. “Picture the quintessential neighborhood corner sandwich shop of your dreams - this is it. This is the spot. Found it today and knew at first menu glance it’d be dope. The daily specials (kielbasa & egg sandwich, and Italian melt) were great and already thinking about the next ones I want to try (ex. The Bobby). Slaw, pickle, and Vietnamese iced coffee were great too!The place was happily busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon - line inside but I ordered ahead online since I was walking my dog, and their service was great — I literally stepped inside and within 2 seconds someone came out to greet me, I said I placed order, they said my name and handed me my bag and coffee.I don’t know what we the people of Francisville did to deserve Sandwich Corner Market, but my heart is full (and stomach)(Can you guys maybe make like, a little sandwich sample flight? “Hershel's East Side Deli is located near the center of the Reading Terminal Market, and was quite busy when I went, although it was Saturday around lunch time so that's to be expected. Great service across the board, was met with a smile by everyone I interacted with despite the crowds. Getting to the main attraction, the pastrami sandwich is out-of-this-world delicious. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I originally thought the price ($17) was a bit much, but it is well worth it for the experience and the portion size was so large I easily made two full meals out of it.“

“The owner reminds me of the best part of going out to eat or grab takeout. She is friendly, chatty, and she aims to please. Ordered a custom sandwich of Italian specialty ingredients for a long drive. It was delicious! It was so good that the drive went better :) Added a drink, a pickle and chips. Lots of good stuff to choose from including prepared goods like chicken salad, which I can attest is very tasty. This spot is clean and organized, full to the brim with goodies. “Came in from out of town and stayed at an airbnb thats really close by. Decided to try to the steak egg and cheese bagel for breakfast and when i first opened up the sandwhich and saw the cheese oozing out i knew it was gonna be the best steak egg & cheese bagel i ever had and it was. Also got a cheesesteak here on my last day. It was tasty and way better than a cheesesteak from Geno's. If i ever find myself in Philadelphia again i will try to come back ?“

“What an unexpected find this was after climbing the Rocky Steps! It was time to indulge in a hearty breakfast and why not try the Christie's Breakfast sandwich. Filled with satisfying ingredients including crunch (hash brown patty) spicy sauce (garlic Siracha) and yummy fried egg, cheddar, onion and pork roll on a toasted croissant. PERFECTION. I thought I was in Heaven. Very friendly staff. Don't miss this local gem. Low key ambiance-quick serve style.“

“Everything about this delii was on point. It brought back memories of my days as teenager working in a Jewish bakery! Every baked g I I'd was just as I remembered. Our delicious sandwiches were humongous. My husband and i grew up in Philky and never knew this deli existed, what a treat as we were visiting for a wedding. Everything was fresh. “I first visited this deli back in the 1960s when I was in highschool. I was visiting Cherry Hill early this year and decided to pay Lou and Ann's a visit. One step inside and I was transported back in time. I recognized the aroma right away. My wife and I had their classic Italian hoagie. It was fantastic. We decided to take one of the entrees back to Richmond on our way out of town. The chicken Marsala not only survived the trip home, but it was delicious.We recently had a birthday celebration for my wife's mom, and we decided to pick up a few of the entrees to serve. We chose chicken and pork Parmesan, along with eggplant parm, chicken cacciatore and some marinara sauce. We complimented these with some real Italian pepperoni and a hunk of provolone. Everything was excellent and the portions enough for 2 people. Be sure to try the meatballs!There are a few tables where you can sit and drink in the atmosphere while enjoying an Italian hoagie or a cheesesteak. Don't forget to get a pickle too. You'll usually find Lou Jr at the counter or in the kitchen cooking up his mom's treasured Italian masterpieces.“

“I stopped at the Deli after a trip to the Aquarium with my baby. My chicken ceaser wrap was delicious and they employees are so friendly and sweet! We got to sit outside in the nice weather too since they have tables out front! Definitely recommend! “I love this deli. The guys who run it are classy guys. They LOVE making custom sandwiches for me, they really go out of their way to provide extra. Another thing they love is when you get a chicken cutlet sandwich and you ask for gravy on it, but you call it sauce.All jokes aside this is the best deli I have found in Philly. 6 stars out of 5.“

“This place rocked on lunches for when we were fixing up our new home, I guess you can say I'm a regular now. Coffee is the best corner store coffee I ever had. I have a coffee pot, but I prefer theirs. Snacks are always fresh, never stale, and lunch meat is awesome. Great prices, very clean place, great people that welcome you in, and they have my favorite coconut mexico popsicles that are fairly priced considering. Great place. I'm not crazy about their ATM machine though. I havnt been able to figure out how to bypass the balance check, and unfortunately I get charged a fee for that, plus withdrawal. Comes out to be $7 to take money out from that atm. Just make sure you go with cash. Other then that, the place is great!!“

“One of if not the best Banh Mi / Tofu hoagie in the city. Has been around a long time, over 15 years for me. Neighborhood staple and very friendly owner, family business. Many unique items I tried for the first time from this place. Cash only!“

“We order from Antonio's at least once a month (okay maybe twice a month), and we have utilized them for catering as well. Our orders are never wrong and are always done when promised. They don't force you to leave a tip on their iPad, which I think is annoying at most places, but if they did do that here, I would certainly oblige. The old Italian is a favorite, along with the crispy tomato, but don't sleep on their veggie hoagie, which is by far the best veggie one I've ever had. They're all FAT sandwiches and totally worth the $~14, especially because you can save half for lunch the next day. When ordering catering via email, I requested a later drop off than usual, but the accommodated us very graciously. I was able to customize our hoagie tray (adding more turkey than ham), and it was very affordable compared to other options we considered. I got a phone call to follow up on specifics and take credit card info. Everyone was raving about the hoagies, and it didn't hurt that we had leftovers for a few days!“

When I order my hoagie I ask her to make it the opposite way she makes others, which is the correct way to make the sandwich. For some reason she thinks the lettuce and veggies should go on first, then cheese and lunch meat. I know I won't be able to eat a whole hoagie in one sitting and I'll have to wrap half back up for later. If the lettuce is what makes contact with the bun, the hoagie will be soggy later on. For me it should be cheese, meat, lettuce and veggies (on top) in that order. Picky? I think not. I ask for this because I like her shop and I want to support her small business, she doesn't mind at all. If you want your sandwich made the conventional way, you'll have to ask.While the worker or owner are making my sandwich, I check out what she has in her store. I like to get a big pickle, chips, and rice pudding. I get the rice pudding immediately because there may only be a few and someone else might choose this popular dessert. I check her freezers for good tv dinners and for water ices. The water ice is pre-portioned and prepackaged but still yummy. It's easy to just grab one. There Are other groceries available here, so I can grab what I need quickly.The owner is super nice, I consider her my friend. Always pleasant and smiling, I'm happy to give her my business at every opportunity. So, try calling ahead because the shop can be busy, and enjoy a banging sandwich from party time!“

“Had Chick's cater my son's first birthday, and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. Joe sat down with me, helped me determine how many portions we would need for the number of people in attendance, and we went through the menu and made the appropriate selections. (For 40 adults and ~15 kids, we ended up getting two cold sandwich trays and ~15 Hot Sandwiches cut down into portions). At the party, the sandwiches were the star of the show. I had a warming oven to keep the hot sandwiches warm, and even after a few hours, the bread did not lose its integrity. We had some leftovers, but not too many, and there was no shortage of folks eager to take some home. 5+ Stars to the Chick's crew for making this process seamless.“

“Stopped here before a sixers game, and I was not expecting to have SUCH a good hoagie. Always have to try one hot and one cold. The italian had a great variety of quality meats and had a perfect ratio of meat to toppings. The OMG cutlet was simple but tasty- we chose the grilled version and it was like a caprese salad in a hoagie. Would return for sure to try another style. Staff was awesome too, and prices were super reasonable.“

“I have never had a complaint about the food at Shamrock. The salads are amazing. Soups are usually good BUT there is a problem. Last week I bought 3 different kinds of homemade soups from the freezer. The chicken pastino was very good Chicken tortellini was chicken, broth & carrots no tortellini Beef rice had no rice at all, the beef was so tough could not be chewed. Each soup was labeled with the contents. I called the store to make them aware of it. I do not want a refund just an FYI The girl I spoke to said Oh I will inform the staff & said good bye. My take is she is going to ignore my call. My purpose of writing this so someone who care at the store and correct the problem. There were a lot of containers of these soups. “Best food in the area hands down ! Eat here roughly 3 times a week. Chris and his staff make your experience absolutely amazing. Cost is a little higher then other area shops, but the quality of ingredients used and the finished products blow away any other sammich shop for miles. Never had anything i didnt enjoy. The one time i had an issue ( ordered bacon cheeseburger and didnt get bacon) they compd my next sandwich even tho i had eaten and fully enjoyed what was wrong. Highly recommend giving arts a try !“
