“Some reviews were questionable, but I chose to walk in and order anyways! I had a fresh flaffel right on the spot - it was absolutely delicious. The lentil soup was also great!! I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and soup, I’m very happy with my order! The sauce is fresh and tasty, the service was fast. I’ll be back. I want to mention, this was a team effort with the family at the front and very busy ☺ amazing customer service and great food!“

“Riley K was the best server we’ve had at a restaurant in a while, we basically let him order for us and he hit it out of the park. It would be wise to request him if you can. His knowledge and passion for the food is exceptional. He certainly made the experience one to remember. The Dorade was amazing, the skirt steak also incredible. The brown sugar ice cream is 10/10. Not a single thing hit our table that we weren’t 100% impressed with. The after dinner drink he suggested was perfect. Monte negro or something I can’t remember but it’s wonderful. He will take care of you.“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. “Without a doubt one of the friendliest people in Philadelphia serving up some of the best and freshest halal you can find. I go 2-3 times a week and singlehandedly keeps me fed on my days off from work. I cannot even begin to say how great the food and service is as there is simply nothing else like it in Philadelphia. Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert.
