Ice Cream Shops near Bernardsville

“Such a yummy ice cream spot! Hard ice cream with a great flavor selection, soft serve, and more. They put a little Swedish fish on top of your ice cream it’s adorable! Such nice staff too. Perfect for a summer (or any) night.🍦“

“I was Happy to try the Flamethrower Burger w/Fries,along with a Medium drink/Flurry(Awesome service worthy of 10,000/10,000 of awesomeness)“

“I am writing this review for the Baskin Robbins located within the Dunkin Donuts.I recently contacted this location to order an ice-cream cake for my brother's graduation from college. The woman I texted with to place the order was extremely accommodating and responsive.Further, the cake was not only delicious, but it was beautifully decorated, far beyond my expectations. The woman carried the colors I had requested for the wording throughout the entire cake, from the flowers to the icing bordering the cake.I would absolutely recommend this Baskin Robbins!“

“They expanded the dining area and what an improvement! Nice atmosphere and good food!“

“what's not the love about this place everything is so good and the staff is Simply Amazing!“

“Always had great service and italian ice.“

“We love surreal and miss it now that it moved away from our area. No other ice cream place has the unique flavors and combinations of Surreal. The Earl grey Vietnamese coffee or the Matcha and Tarro flavors are the best.“

“Have been a customer for 40 years. Great owner and staff, good food, friendly atmosphere. What else is there to say?“

“Today is Chocolate Milkshake Day! Wishing you a great day filled with sweet moments. 😊🥳😋“

“Jason is honestly one of the main reasons going to Rita’s Ice is such a good experience. From the second you walk up, he’s friendly in a way that doesn’t feel forced or fake—he actually seems like he enjoys being there and talking to customers. It makes a big difference, especially compared to places where workers just rush you through the line.

What really stands out is how helpful he is. If you’re not sure what flavor to get, he’ll give suggestions or let you try samples without making you feel like you’re being annoying. He knows the menu really well and can recommend combinations that actually end up being really good. You can tell he cares about people leaving happy with what they ordered.

He’s also super efficient. Even when there’s a long line, he keeps things moving without making anyone feel rushed. He balances speed with good service, which isn’t easy to do. Plus, he pays attention to small details, like getting orders right the first time and making sure everything looks good before handing it over.

Overall, Jason just makes Rita’s a better place to go. It’s not just about getting ice—it’s about the experience, and he definitely improves that. People remember service like that, and it’s the kind of thing that makes you want to come back.“

“great cookie“

“The best in town!! Great staff, great prices. My favorite is the cherry vanilla gelati!!😋🍒“

“PEANUT ALLERGY FAMILY!! Let me start off by saying I love love loved the ice cream here from day 1. The staff is wonderful and super attentive, but last night was above and beyond. I went for dessert with my oldest son and wanted to bring some back for my 8 month old to share with me. We just discovered my 8 month old has a peanut allergy and we aren’t sure what other nuts he might be allergic to yet. I told the staff all of this. The gentleman who made my order went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that ice cream was safe to share with him (of course I know there are no guarantees when you are eating out). I can’t tell you how much that meant to me since allergies like this are new to my family and I. I cannot thank them enough!! They gained a customer for life.“

“Wanted to the Scoop Station owner, Jen, for helping us out with discounted gift cards as part of the giveaway for the Morris Plains 8th graders at the end of their dance last night!! It was so kind!“

“Delicious ice cream and great staff!“

“Delicious food. Best crepes in Morristown!“

“So my family ordered sundaes. We didn't realize how generous the portions were. The quality of the ingredients was very good. We took home what we couldn't finish. The young lady that took care of us was very quick and efficient. She definitely needs a raise.“

“I used to come here with my little girl. She’d consistently get a vanilla cone with cherry dip. That was her favorite. She’d always let me have a bite (in exchange for a bite of whatever I had, of course).

I love you Lilly“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Friendly environment, clean and delicious ice cream... What more could you ask for?“

“Humble establishment... she made my kids feel so welcomed... can't wait to go back... please visit 💛“

“owner is so nice!!! they make their own soy sauce. wasn't salty“

“I had the coconut and cake batter flavors and they were delicious! My 2 year old really like it too. My only issue is that they don't allow sampling. There is a sign that says it's temporary but that sign looks old and like it's been on the wall for awhile so it may be a permanent policy. It's not ideal if you have young children with you and you're trying to figure out what they like. There are about 8 different flavors and plenty of topping options. They weigh the it in order to determine the price. They also offer other options like crepes, smoothies, boba teas and more. Overall, I enjoyed it and would go back.“

“Love their custard but they really need to give the customer what they pay for. $5 for a large and they fill it like it's a small. My second issue with this place; consistency is key.“

“I love the ice cream. But the best part was the service . There was one employee the day I went with my family and he was nice and fast talking the orders.

Even though he was alone he got the job done.

Monday August 3 whoever was on shift at 6:00 pm he deserved a raise!!“

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service I received. From beginning to end, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The staff, Mark, Avery & Emily, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and their warm, attentive approach truly stood out. It’s rare to find such dedication and excellence these days, and I am grateful for the experience. I will definitely be recommending their services to family and friends.“

“Really fun little spot at Berkeley Heights for a sweet treat on a hot day! The frozen custard is creamy and delicious, and the variety of Italian ice flavors is impressive. Service is quick and friendly — great for a casual stop with kids or friends. Just one heads-up: the Italian ice melts very quickly — mine turned into sugary water in no time. Still, overall a nice experience — just eat fast.“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

“9/18/2020: A guy with blonde hair on top of his brown hair, was the nicest guy ever. I didn’t catch his name but he made my day better. He deserves more than the tip jar, he needs a raise for running the place. 5 stars, hope you get a raise :)“

“Great food, service, and atmosphere. The food is fresh and worth the money. The atmosphere is upscale and modern but comfortable. Our server was Courtney, she was excellent, friendly and attentive. All around a great experience.

We brought our 4 year old, there is a kids menu for those asking.“

“it's clean, has nice people working there, the food tastes real not that frozen bs, easy to order, they aren't cheap when you ask for extra toppings like once I asked for pickles and they gave me nicely cut pickle slices like a whole container“

“Wow!!! We asked them prepare little sweet and they just met all our expectations. They added real mango fruit instead of flavours and yogrut is YUMM!!! I loved the combo which is healthy. Service is exceptionally good👍. I would definitely recommend this place and I am eager to taste them all.“
