“Was on our way to another bar, "late" last night (not even Midnight) after having been turned aside by the Marriott but then drove by Andy's Corner and immediately pulled a U-ey.This place is a gem. The bartender is swell and the vibe is laid-back friendly.You might think "Dive Bar" (in the best possible way) when walking up to the front door, but what you get when you open the door is a Classy Establishment.To the backyard party-goers of Bergen County--- leave your block, for the love of Mike, and patronize this place. It's in your neighborhood, after all!!“

“I must say I don't write much reviews on bars and the such but this one here my goodness I just had to because of the exceptional service and good natured and hospitable nature of the Bartender there by the name of Brian. He made such an impression to his golden smile, his positive down-to-earth demeanor, his outstanding communication made you feel like he was not only your server/bartender but also your best friend, your therapist, and a loving Father/ and or brother relative however. Brian puts the cozy in the Cozy Tavern with his exceptional sevice and warm gentle personality that would make any atmosphere feel cozy and make anyone feel at home. All to cheers to Brian ?“

One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. “Busy spot with quick and easy service. Fun range in cocktails, crab fried rice is delicious and they had pork cheeks (served with thai chili slices and ginger, which was perfect), which is one of my favorite appetizers.

Stopped in for Brunch on Sunday morning. Relaxed environment and pace of the meal, but temperature was a bit stuffy and warm.

Food was on point. Ordered Benedict, Omlette, Pancakes, and some lunch items. Fantastic gnocchi as well.“

“Omg. BEST place ever for a casual, fun birthday dinner!!!!! I last minute made reservations for 4 friends and I to have my birthday dinner/drinks here and I’m SOOOO happy I did!!!! Genuinely the best time ever!!!! My roommate and I already made plans to come back during the week for their happy hour deal! Everyone who worked here was SO nice and helpful! I asked if it was okay to bring a cake that my friend had baked for me into the restaurant and not only did they say yes but they ALSO provided everything we needed to cut and serve the cake and they put the candles in for me and lit them. We all got the happiest hamburger which was DELISH and the fries are really skinny which is yum and the Hugo spritz was great too!!!! The music is also so good!!! Amazing vibes, amazing food, amazing music!!! Also shoutout to the hostess Olivia who was the SWEETEST!!!!!!! She obviously wished me happy birthday but then later came over with a handwritten card for me as well as adorable matchboxes and pens for me and all of my friends!!! She was incredible!!! “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.

I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“
