“Was on our way to another bar, "late" last night (not even Midnight) after having been turned aside by the Marriott but then drove by Andy's Corner and immediately pulled a U-ey.This place is a gem. The bartender is swell and the vibe is laid-back friendly.You might think "Dive Bar" (in the best possible way) when walking up to the front door, but what you get when you open the door is a Classy Establishment.To the backyard party-goers of Bergen County--- leave your block, for the love of Mike, and patronize this place. “I must say I don't write much reviews on bars and the such but this one here my goodness I just had to because of the exceptional service and good natured and hospitable nature of the Bartender there by the name of Brian. He made such an impression to his golden smile, his positive down-to-earth demeanor, his outstanding communication made you feel like he was not only your server/bartender but also your best friend, your therapist, and a loving Father/ and or brother relative however. Brian puts the cozy in the Cozy Tavern with his exceptional sevice and warm gentle personality that would make any atmosphere feel cozy and make anyone feel at home. All to cheers to Brian ?“

Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “Omg. BEST place ever for a casual, fun birthday dinner!!!!! I last minute made reservations for 4 friends and I to have my birthday dinner/drinks here and I’m SOOOO happy I did!!!! Genuinely the best time ever!!!! My roommate and I already made plans to come back during the week for their happy hour deal! Everyone who worked here was SO nice and helpful! I asked if it was okay to bring a cake that my friend had baked for me into the restaurant and not only did they say yes but they ALSO provided everything we needed to cut and serve the cake and they put the candles in for me and lit them. We all got the happiest hamburger which was DELISH and the fries are really skinny which is yum and the Hugo spritz was great too!!!! The music is also so good!!! Amazing vibes, amazing food, amazing music!!! Also shoutout to the hostess Olivia who was the SWEETEST!!!!!!! She obviously wished me happy birthday but then later came over with a handwritten card for me as well as adorable matchboxes and pens for me and all of my friends!!! She was incredible!!! You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Also had higher alcohol content alike Double Nectaron Daydream with 8.5%. Felt the buzz. Deceptively tasty. Chic drink? Nope unisex well-liked for most tastebuds.

Also had dark one. Not universally liked. Texture syruppy. I liked it. Quite different but others mixed reviews. No wander bartender offered tasting before ordering for 4.

The place does have TV, so possibly watching MLB playoff. But more of midtown place to hang out after work.
Got really crowded. Tough to get table, seat or even standing room.“

If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“
