“Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

“What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. Chicken noodle fills the bill any day with different pastas to satisfy your palate. Friendly service and just a great place to eat. Come and enjoy your meal, it will truly be worth it.!!!“

“Delicious food and very nice service from Rebecca. I had a party of 6, with some vegetarians, and someone who had to eat something gentle on the stomach. We sat at the bar and our server, Rebecca, was super nice, attentive, bilingual (which was helpful for our group), and gave great food recommendations.

I ordered the braised short rib 5/5 would order again in a heartbeat, especially for the price. Comes with brasato sauce a lemon vinaigrette, perfect for cutting the richness. Some of our party ordered veggie burgers, others ordered chicken noodle soup. I also ordered a mocha.

Lisa the waitress we sometimes have, said I have really good roast beef and I was debating about getting it. She knows I like my beef med. rare. I ordered it and it was soooooo good. I tried the daily special of the gyro platter and the chicken noodle soup. The soup was sufficiently savory and soothing, the lamb in the gyro platter was the typical pre-slide thin patties, the lettuce was fresh romaine with nice thick slices of juicy tomatoes and red onions with a generous dusting of briny feta. The portions are also generous and I wasn’t able to finish my meal. The prices are very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Definitely adding this Tibbett’s to my list of go-to diners.“

“A GEM find in Long Island City. Walking distance from our hotel, perfect little diner for breakfast or lunch. We ordered breakfast for lunch:) the pancakes were some of the best we’ve ever had!
