“The Great Wazu is the reason small businesses are the HEART of a community. I am a soon-to-be small business owner myself. I walked in this place tonight like I do every 1-2 weeks to get dinner. Sara behind the counter has gotten to know me and ALWAYS remembers my order. Tonight, she asked me what was new, and I told her I had been upset all day worrying about all the stuff I have on my plate right now getting my business ready to open. She was the sweetest. When I reached for my credit card, she told me my order was on her and gave me a hug and said, "You got this." “12/23/25: We went here again and found a nice crowd of people have also discovered this hidden gem for fresh sushi and oriental food at a good price. Our new standby for awesomely made sushi! We both had special rolls, of which they make many. All were so good! (See pictures below). I find the prices to be very good and the quality fresh, and well made. And the service is so friendly, too. You really need to try it. This is a BYOB restaurant so bring your bottle of wine or beer and enjoy your dining experience.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
For all you sushi lovers out there.....this is a great one! I'm from out if town visiting and we went here. We did make a reservation but it's really not necessary. The lady that greeted us and waited on us was super nice and friendly! Just the right amount of attention and she alone made for a great visit from that aspect.
The Food: my son had the sashimi plater with a side of avocado. He said it was all fresh and a good amount. I had various rolls after I started with the spicy seaweed salad. It had just the correct amount of aoli spicy sauce.... not too spicy... & just right. And, soooo fresh, plus it was a good sized salad.
I had some eel nagiri and tamago nagiri along with a couple of rolls. I added a delicious California roll, too.
Prices: super right! Not expensive, at all. This is not a break the bank place with pricing that beats all the others locally.
My son and his wife and my grandson will be going here from now on he said. I look forward to going here again when in-state visiting.
Folks, I highly recommend trying this excellent restaurant. I'm am sure that you'll enjoy it as it checks off all the boxes and the sushi is very fresh and well made.

I also really enjoyed the udon and the salmon bento set—they were full of flavor. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, and the wall art is fun and memorable. “We love Jimmy Tomato's. My husband and I are vegan and they will make all the Indian vegetarian pies vegan. The veggies are exceptionally good crisp and perfect. I can't stand what veggies past their prime. I will not eat and never go back. The freshness of the veggies is top notch. Be forewarned the Indian pies are very spicy! Kids love their traditional pies. I have had them as well and they are good Roman pizza pies.“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. “My family always comes here for a quick bite whenever we get a chance to be together. We happened to go on Father’s Day and the owner surprised our table by taking care of the bill for us. The waitress had come to our table to let us know that owner likes to choose a family once a week as a giving back gesture and comps their bill and that our family was chosen. It was so sweet and we asked to meet him to thank him. He said he saw our daughter and said “the kids are our future” in Spanish. It was beautiful. “Olive Garden never disappoints! The food, drinks, and service are always on point. The red wine was amazing — smooth and full of flavor — and the Italian Rum Punch cocktail was honestly one of my favorites, perfectly balanced and refreshing.

The Alfredo pasta was creamy and delicious, and of course, you can never go wrong with their famous breadsticks and salad. The soups are always warm, flavorful, and comforting — especially the Zuppa Toscana! Everything came out fresh, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
