If you’re looking for the best Sushi in the area, and you’re not sure where to go.. go to EPOCH! I tried their food a couple years ago and it was amazing! Recently, they changed up most of their menu… and finding this out I was skeptical. But let me tell you, the sushi was the best I’ve ever had from any Sushi place in like an hour radius.
The environment inside this place is very warm, and relaxing. Good music was playing. Staff were so friendly. My 3 friends I brought with me, also said it was by far the best sushi they’ve ever had yet.
I and my friend will be back for sure!

We always ordered lunch Bento box came with many combinations like Miso soup, salad, california rolls are great. The salmon teriyaki, chicken tonkatsu, shrimp teriyaki and shrimp tempura for the other time were yummy, everything was tasty—truly reflecting professional, high-quality preparation. The best Japanese food in North Jersey, guaranteed.

Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. The Goyza dumplings probably the best I've ever had, and that Toro just melted in your mouth. We found our sushi spot in the area! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes.“

“This is a great local sushi restaurant in Little Falls. The quality is excellent, very fresh, with nice presentation. Tropical Mango and Volcano are two of my favorites, along with the Yellowtail Jalapeno roll which is simple but very satisfying.

Staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself if very cute and cozy though I haven't had the privilege to dine in yet - but I am looking forward to that!“

“If you get an urge for some sushi and want to go, pick it up and head home, this is the place for you. The sushi is pretty much restaurant quality and nothing like the sushi you get from any of the supermarkets. The place is shinny and new and the staff are all great. Good local spot for lunch.“

“I've been coming here on-off for about 3 years, I think? It's a lovely, quiet place. I'm rarely in the mood for sushi but from my occasional hunt, the bulgogi roll lured me here. And the simple atmosphere & excellent service made me come back again, and again. A master sushi chef straight from Tokyo, or Fukuoka, or Hokaido, sitting in Shoprite taking orders?They make good sushi when it's just made. Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. “12/23/25: We went here again and found a nice crowd of people have also discovered this hidden gem for fresh sushi and oriental food at a good price. Our new standby for awesomely made sushi! We both had special rolls, of which they make many. All were so good! (See pictures below). I find the prices to be very good and the quality fresh, and well made. And the service is so friendly, too. You really need to try it. This is a BYOB restaurant so bring your bottle of wine or beer and enjoy your dining experience.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
For all you sushi lovers out there.....this is a great one! I'm from out if town visiting and we went here. We did make a reservation but it's really not necessary. The lady that greeted us and waited on us was super nice and friendly! Just the right amount of attention and she alone made for a great visit from that aspect.
The Food: my son had the sashimi plater with a side of avocado. He said it was all fresh and a good amount. I had various rolls after I started with the spicy seaweed salad. It had just the correct amount of aoli spicy sauce.... not too spicy... & just right. And, soooo fresh, plus it was a good sized salad.
I had some eel nagiri and tamago nagiri along with a couple of rolls. I added a delicious California roll, too.
Prices: super right! Not expensive, at all. This is not a break the bank place with pricing that beats all the others locally.
My son and his wife and my grandson will be going here from now on he said. I look forward to going here again when in-state visiting.
Folks, I highly recommend trying this excellent restaurant. I'm am sure that you'll enjoy it as it checks off all the boxes and the sushi is very fresh and well made.

I also really enjoyed the udon and the salmon bento set—they were full of flavor. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, and the wall art is fun and memorable. The food here is great . They have creative sushi menu.there is so many exotic rolls you can choose and they offer kids menu .
We ordered the sushi pizza, sushi love boat ,sweet heart roll gyoza and Thai calamari. Everything tested fresh.all very delicious. The service was attentive and friendly.By the way it’s BYOB.
