“Best sushi within 100 miles“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone“

“From what I shared last time (food being so delicious) very disspointed now. Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. We used to love this place, truly loved. But last couple of times food seems not the same. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. “I had a great experience here. I ordered the sushi combo. I got shrimp tempura, soup and a house salad on the side. It was very delicious and the service was very nice. She is a very sweet lady. The atmosphere is small but very pleasant and calm if you want a quiet spot.“

“Ordered for the first time since learning they moved & opened their doors in Morris Plains! They were our FAVORITE restaurant in Cedar Knolls! I’m SO happy to have them ‘back’ (a bit further of a drive, but so worth it!!) Everything was just as delicious as I remembered it being! We’ll be back SOON!!“

They have a few tempura rolls, a few naruto rolls (cucumber wrapped, no rice), and a whole 2 pages for regular and special rolls. I enjoyed everything my table tried. “Great Food, Great Service Great Atmosphere. So we were bummed when we saw they closed the original location because how much we loved the place. We were relieved when they announced they were opening up in a much more appropriate and highly upgraded venue. This was perfect timing for us to celebrate our 9 year anniversary here. Upon arriving the inside captures the comfort and style of the Livingston location and then improves upon it with the beautiful outside seating area. Now onto the food which is just as good if not better than the original location im glad to see the quality has remained consistent. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes pasta dish was packed with quality flavor. The drink menu was definitely brought to the next level as well everything seemed like it was fine tuned and everything we tried was on point and had its own unique delicious flavor profile. Andy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to about the different cocktails. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was great it wasn't youre traditional kind but we loved the spin they put on it with the cake and ice-cream. Lastly for service Jonathan took amazing care of us and made our special day very memorable along with the rest of the staff. Everyone that came by the table was professional and had a smile on their face. They all seemed happy and took pride in their work which was nice to see. We will definitely be returning in the future. I implore anyone that reads this to visit and support this wonderful place.“

“We were there for a wonderful Caribbean themed day party. Because it was so hot outside, we first sat inside and had a full lunch as a group of 6. Decor was nice. (The round tables would make a great board game night event one day). Service was good and accurate, medium speed. Everyone liked their drinks. Food was bar food, yet freshly fried and very tasty. The calamari and pretzel bites got extra wows from the group. The outdoor area (which we moved to, by 5pm) provides a good set up for DJ/dance parties. Wish it had more shade for the evening hours (maybe a retractable system in the future?). Scenery is nice and green. Parking is hard for events and spills to streets. Was my first time here. Would come back.“

“We came for a quick and relaxing Saturday night meal. We were seated at a booth. The owner served us as she ran around managing all aspects of the business. We ordered scallion pancakes as a shared appetizer and I had a cup of wonton soup. My entree was chicken Mei fun and my dinner guest had pineapple chicken with brown rice. The portions were ample and all food was prepared and presented well. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not dripping in oil. The wonton soup was tasty and not salty. Overall we had no complaints. The business does what appears to be a greater pick up business than dine in. The restaurant decor is pleasant. We certainly will come back.“

“Best Chinese & Japanese I’ve had, from their green tea with toasted brown rice to their soups, their general Tso is always a good balance of spice to sweet, very accommodating with gluten allergy for my partner. They are always nice and we tend to catch going once a week at this point, very good every time“
