Asian Fusion Restaurants near Caldwell

“We've been meaning to to try so many of the new restaurants in the area. We finally got here for a late lunch today. Not surprisingly on a Thursday at 2PM and snowing, we had the place to ourselves. It was fortunate because the woman who took care of us explained everything to us in detail. I wasn't familiar with the Kurobuta pork. Apparently it's known as the, "Kobe beef of pork." All their pork come from Berkshire pigs. They come from a farm in Jersey. I'm guessing North Jersey. (Lot's of cool info if you Google them) Cooking is done using White charcoal which is used in traditional Japanese cooking. We started with the crispy cauliflower. It had crispy shallots & tahini vinegarette on them. They were delicious! Then the Shanghai bao. Filling was pork. (naturally) So delicious and juicy! When you slice them in half watch for the juice to squirt! We ordered six skewers. Two with pork jowel (cheek) Two regular pork and two fish. Again, delicious. i also had a bowl of spicy miso ramen. Our server explained how the broth is simmered for eight hours with pig bones and marrow. I could tell as the broth was very rich! That was it for us. We were both very full and i even took half of my ramen. We can't wait to return and bring friends! Highly recommend! ✌️“

“I’ve been coming to Tiam Tiam since it was Ding Food Market. Their bento boxes slap, you can’t go wrong. Would also suggest any onigiri, especially the spam supreme, and the Brussels with tofu. Such a hidden gem and you can tell they are passionate about the food they serve! Love this place, five stars forever.“

“$@&&ing love this place. Pick up times are shorter if you call versus using the app. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is fresh and flavorful. We’ve tried other places and don’t even consider them anymore. This is our got to for Chinese and sushi.

“Very traditional Polynesian/oriental food. There are very few sit down Chinese restaurants anymore and this was a throwback to my youth. From the fun kitchen decor to the phenomenal pu pu platter and flaming drinks. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely.“

“Ordered delivery late on a weeknight around 815 pm from a neighboring town and it was delivered just before 9 pm!

We ordered tacos (of course). Nick ordered the bulgogi tacos and I had a tofu taco and a bistec taco. Everything we had was exceptional. They also provide an amazing green salsa, but to be honest the tacos really don’t need it, they have so much flavor! We are so glad we gave this place a try and recommend you do too!“

“As somebody with a severe sesame allergy, eating Asian cuisine has always been a challenge for me. I have always had to be extremely careful, usually avoiding Asian cuisine altogether to avoid the risk of cross-contamination with sesame seeds or oil. However, I work nearby and one day I decided to call QQ Asian to see if it were a possibility to order something that didn't have sesame, and it turns out that they were able to accommodate me more than I thought! They mainly use a different oil (vegetable, I believe) for most of the food, and when I call to place an order, I always remind them of my allergy and they do a great job of making sure my food doesn't come in contact with ANY sesame. I appreciate the staff at QQ Asian for not only making consistently great food, but for also taking into consideration an allergy that had previously made it feel impossible to explore Asian cuisine. (Allergies vary in severity, so if you have allergies, only try if you feel comfortable.)

“The fried chicken was very tasty. Nice crunch on the skin as the sauce carmelizes with an excellent flavor. The neat stays moist and has absorbed some of the flavor from the sauce. it's no wonder that this is what they are famous for... The pork buns consist of a steamed rice flour bun with fried pork belly pieces with cucumber and Asian relish with a nice little bit of heat. The fresh veggies provide a nice balance to the oily pork belly. However they need more pork belly. Overall definitely on the list to go back...“

“Fast and good food. Very reasonable prices. Not quite a place for sit down but there are a few tables to sit and eat. It's generally for take out, either pick up or deliver. Parking lot is small. Getting in to lot is easier than getting out. Being it's location is at a corner which is often busy. Hard to turn left out of the lot due to the traffic pattern. Love the food there.

“The food was delicious and prepared in a timely fashion. I ordered two large main dishes and two large orders of white rice and everything was prepared in 15 min, prepared to taste and tasted good. Also, THEIR CRAB RANGOON IS AMAZING. The staff was courteous and communicated well.“

And having been here a few previous times we found their Chinese food to be very good.Upon our recent visit we found that their Chinese food has maintained its quality and taste. They have even prepared two windows for minimal contact pickup. One is at the entrance and one is by the counter. This will ensure this location will be open for business if we are close to shutting down again.Our service here again today was excellent. We ordered in the store and waited at our table for the food to be ready. However there is no eating in at this location The only tables are for sitting and waiting for your food.“

“I came here to try this place out after seeing my friend come here the day before his birthday. I have never been. My wife and I came and had the hotpot and bbq together. The portions were amazing, things were super fresh and the taste was out of this world. I have never had this type of food before and not I am hooked and will be back. My wife who is Brazilian loves it too and that is good because if she loves it, it will be easy to return. Above all the staff was great and served us well. You will not go wrong eating here and I loved everything 100%. Can not wait to return!!!“
