Definitely make a reservation there's only about eight tables. Owners are wonderful

Great food, amazing attentive service, and the chef/owner is really Italian.
Price wise is another bull’s eye.
The management/owner Mario has an astute sense of knowing what the clients want, resulting in the restaurant being always packed.

“I went to Calandra’s Italian Village and had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing! fresh bread, perfectly cooked pasta, and everything just tasted like it was made with love.

Our server Jayson was awesome. Super friendly, really attentive, and made some great recommendations from the menu. He made the whole night feel easy and fun, like we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

If you’re looking for a place with great Italian food and even better service, definitely check this place out, and if you can, ask for Jayson. He made the experience next level“

“Calandras has been a staple in my family since before I was born. My grandparents lived in Newark and would go to the bakery for the bread and my papa would always bring home cupcakes for us. I discovered they opened restaurants and other locations a few years ago, after I had left NJ and then came back many years later. It is by far, the best restaurant ever. I'm obsessed with this place. The desserts are delicious. I only wish they had one in central NJ/eastern PA because it's hard for me to get up there, except when visiting my family up north.“

“We had a 40th Birthday Party in the private room on Saturday night. It was absolutely fantastic. The room is beautiful ,they had it set up as we discussed. The service was exemplary. FOOD was amazing. We have been enjoying Forte since they opened. I would highly recommend this venue for any private party.“

“We got our wedding cake from Calandra's Bakery. They have so many flavors to choose from, and their cakes are magnificent works of art! We got a four tier cake to feed 250 people. We had such a good time at our tasting, sampling all the different flavor combinations, and enjoying some complimentary coffee. The flavors we chose were vanilla cake with chocolate pudding, chocolate and vanilla cake with Italian custard and strawberries, and chocolate cake with dulce de leche. Their dulce de leche is the best I have ever tasted! Designing the cake was super easy and so fun! If you want a cake that not only looks spectacular, but tastes just as good, Calandra's is it!“

“So a few advertisements on instagram & if you know me. I see I go (or try to go) I saw the thin crust pizza and just had to try. Plus pepperoni of course. Hot and fresh. Service was very fast. Came out a little well done but lucky for me I love it like this. Definitely would go again.“
