“I am so extremely happy as I found my mei fun noodle I've been looking for. I used to (back on 2016) work near by this place and my coworkers had always ordered mei fun (thin rice noodle) from this place. As I moved job at 2018, I forgot where to get the same exact thing that I've tried from when I was working near by this chinese restaurant, I went to so many chinese restaurant around woodbridge/ edison to look for the exact thing but their mei fun noodle are so different compared to this (both the look and the taste). how I found this place again? I've never been here in person as in the past my coworkers ordered by phone and had them delivered to work. I tried to google chinese restaurant near carteret and found the singapore noodle pic on this website and give it a try to come try it in person. because from the look, it's just like what I want. the very very thin rice noodle (vermicelli). came to know that this place was the one where my friends ordered from! i'm so happy. will be back for my rice noodle again :))“

“Mongolian bbq isn’t my favorite food. After the “pan” cooked a few dishes, they all taste similar as it picked up previous dishes’ flavor.

The service was good. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

The sticky rice shumai was fine.

“I was looking for a good spot to get Chinese food, after a not so great experience elsewhere in the area. Stuck to the basics and ordered Sesame chicken, egg roll, and egg drop soup and was pleasantly suprised. From other places I'd order sesame chicken and it felt heavy with so much sauce. The chicken here was great quality wise, and everything I ordered was spot on. I want to add that the staff was very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back soon.“

“My new favorite Chinese-American takeout place - has all the standard menu items you'd expect to find at very fair prices. The portions were generous and the shrimp in my dish were large, fresh and plentiful. Food was very tasty. There are a few tables and comfortable chairs for people to wait or to eat the food there. The service was efficient and friendly. They have the sauce packets and fortune cookies on a counter for you to help yourself, I appreciate they don't charge for 'extra' packets like at some places. There's also an ample parking lot.“

“First time here at the good “Panda China” restaurant. First impression? Fine addition to the community. The young lady that took my order was very pleasant. The chef seemed skilled and I must say the vegetables in both dishes (vegetable fried rice and lo mein) were fresh and full is flavor. The chicken wings were fried nicely and hard as we requested. “This is a Northern Chinese style BBQ. I came here with my family for lunch.
The server recommended a lunch combo menu. This comes with 5 decent sized skewers, rice or french fries and a choice of a drink. We all got a variety of skewers and shared them. We also selected BBQ oysters which were delicious 🤤!

There is a bathroom on the premises.
No free parking. Street parking only. Paid during the week.

“Just started to order from here cause it’s a little far from my house but they were happy to deliver with no problem the food comes hot and it actually has taste unlike a ton of the places I been ordering from in the past so far everything has been great definitely my new go to spot“

“We’ve been ordering from the New Rice Bowl for 10 years and the food is always delicious! It’s always fresh and hot whether you have it delivered or pick it up. No matter how late or early I go the food is always made to order and consistent…never sitting around all day like in some places. I can’t say enough good things about New Rice Bowl!“

“The only negative I have (and it’s a big one and has happened 4-5 times now), I order no onion in my pepper steak and they add a $2 extra meat fee. I didn’t ask for extra meat to compensate for lack of veggies , and I don’t like it added without it being acknowledged or even approved/denied.. really not okay with that decision being made without my knowledge of it and will say something next time..

However when it comes to the food? Do it. Our usual orders are a some kind of mix of chicken&broccoli, pepper steak, boneless ribs, sesame chicken, fried wontons… everything has been great every time. “It's great-tasting, well-made Chinese food. By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours.They have a great selection of different styles. “Casual take out Chinese with poor parking and a storefront that shows its time. Food preparation was quick. Food is fresh and delicious. My order is general tso chicken. As show in the attached photos, the chicken fills up the side of the container and is not layered over rice like some places do to cut costs. The portion is generous and I'm sure they just barely closed the lid. The chicken is cooked perfectly, lightly battered, fried to a crispy exterior and moist interior, I'm guessing dark meat which I prefer anyway. The sauce is tasty in this americanized version. The broccoli is fresh and healthy and steamed perfectly. The fried rice is excellent with pork, bean sprouts, green onions, and yellow onions. This rice was cooked expertly with wok hei, which is char, giving the rice a undertone of smoke. I'd pair this rice against that of upscale restaurants. Pork in the rice is abundant. Exerything in this order was fresh and cooked perfectly. My one negative is that general tso is supposed to have szechaun peppers and have heat, but this was sweet which is on par for most americanized Chinese eateries in the tri state area. As a visitor, I'm saddened I don't live closer to here as I would visit frequently. I do cook Chinese cuisine at home and can appreciate the technique and flavor in this order.\nOverall, excellent!\n\nEdit. This is now my third time coming here. The quality is consistently excellent. As I enjoy my lunch again I can taste that the oil use is fresh and clean.\nChinese has been my favorite cuisine since I was a child. For americanize szechuan, this is the BEST takeout I've had. I live in ny and come to this area twice a year for work. I look forward to coming here exclusively every trip. Ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and it had plenty of shrimp. Also ordered their Plain Broccoli, which is broccoli with brown sauce (like you get with beef n broccoli) The broccoli was good and crunchy and it came with white rice. All the food was delicious.“
