“Located on Millburn Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bagel Pantry offers breakfast sandwiches and approximately 15 types of bagels and a few other items. The plain bagel was fresh and the cream cheese very high quality. Take out is popular, while others take a break at the 8 or so small tables. The lighting is somewhat dreary, and the ceiling and walls perhaps worn, but the service was pleasant and the prices certainly reasonable.“

We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! “Nice deli, bagels were good they were able to make my sandwich just the way the like. The meat was piled on and the sandwich was filling. The bagel has the right consistency of crunchy and chewy with the flavor that you expect. It's hard to find good bagels where I currently reside(Pittsburgh) so it was a nice treat while visiting here.“

I've ordered online here a number of times--usually during Mother's Day, birthday, and New Years day. The bagels were good especially the asiago flavor. The smoothie chillers are top notch. Same goes with the fruit platter, presented in a color block that screams detail. Unlike some grocery grade platters, the fruit seems ripe and sweet. Their specialty cream cheeses are good just a notch below Philadelphia's lmaooo. The manager and staff were very pleasant and Im glad I braved the snow to visit the shop New Years day.“
