“Had a great experience with Madison Bagel Cafe. This is exactly what you want from a local bagel spot—fresh, high-quality bagels with that perfect texture and flavor.

I got the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel, and it was excellent—simple, classic, and done right. You can tell everything is made with care, and the consistency really stands out.

The staff are friendly and efficient, and everything feels very well-run. The owner was also a pleasure to talk to, which added to the whole experience. The art on the wall adds a nice touch to the atmosphere and gives the place extra character. It has that classic neighborhood feel with lots of regulars coming in, which says a lot.

“Located on Millburn Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bagel Pantry offers breakfast sandwiches and approximately 15 types of bagels and a few other items. The plain bagel was fresh and the cream cheese very high quality. Take out is popular, while others take a break at the 8 or so small tables. The lighting is somewhat dreary, and the ceiling and walls perhaps worn, but the service was pleasant and the prices certainly reasonable.“

“We moved to Tennessee 8 years ago & long for good bagels which are hard to come by where we live. We found Howard’s Bagels while visiting for the birth of our second granddaughter. We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! “Its rare that you find an establishment that absolutely kills it in service quality and food quality. I've ordered online here a number of times--usually during Mother's Day, birthday, and New Years day. The bagels were good especially the asiago flavor. The smoothie chillers are top notch. Same goes with the fruit platter, presented in a color block that screams detail. Unlike some grocery grade platters, the fruit seems ripe and sweet. Their specialty cream cheeses are good just a notch below Philadelphia's lmaooo. The manager and staff were very pleasant and Im glad I braved the snow to visit the shop New Years day.“
