“Really great slice. I started visiting Chester 25 years ago as a young kid. The thinner than average crust at Bella's stood out to me even then, but still feels true to NJ Style pizza which I strictly classify and golden brown and crispy crust/bottom which achieves those wonderful golden brown micro bubbles. I'm normally skeptical of pizza joints which use a mesh tray to cook, however this place is quite the exception. The mesh tray might be their secret to that really awesome bake on their crust.“

In fact, our table was last to receive each course of the meal, and it was just too slow. The bill for 4, with tip, was $650, which is too much to receive such poor service.“

The atmosphere is cozy, and busy but didn't feel overcrowded, indoor and outdoor seating available, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The owner was present greeting patrons and ensuring all needs were cared for. The food!!!! Oh my, the food was absolutely delicious! The menu had a selection for everyone. We did not feel rushed in the slightest, which seems to be a common problem, especially for a couple ladies trying to catch up. Highly recommend.“

“Luna Rossa is an exceptional restaurant which is run by a loyal and dedicated team under the direction of Adrian. Our first time visiting this establishment was with a party of 10. Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. “I went to Pezzo Pizza with three children under 5, and the staff was just incredible. They were so, so sweet and accommodating — not always an easy task with little ones, I get it! I felt completely at home, and so did the kids. The food was really good too, which made the whole experience even better. We ordered the garlic knots and there was 6 of us and only 6 garlic knots in the portion, our server who was the kindest ever gave us extra 🥺. Literally had the BEST service there I am not sure what the workers name is but whoever served us today I love you your the best!! He even took photos of us and the music there was so good. I really liked this one song that played and I said it out loud, im not sure if someone heard me but it played again and i was so happy!! Infact i am listening to it right now so thank you for playing that music. Okay so on top of the amazing service the food was astonishing. My friends and I got three pizzas including the pesto white sauce, caprese salad, and vodka sauce and they were all soooo good. Emphasis on the vodka sauce one that was amazing. So the environent was also really nice , I went to the bathroom and it was so clean, smelt good, and even cutely decorated. “A Hidden Gem in Wharton That Keeps Getting Better!

This evening we had a truly wonderful dinner at Reno’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Wharton, NJ. From start to finish, everything about our visit was top-notch. Our server, Shirley, was incredibly attentive—friendly, prompt, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out, though, was that Reno himself came by to check in and ensure we were enjoying our evening. It’s not every day you see that level of care and pride from an owner, and it absolutely elevated the experience.

We started with two fantastic appetizers—the eggplant rollatini and little neck clams in marinara sauce. Both were delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. For entrees, we chose the mahi mahi in mango sauce special and the shrimp scampi over linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Compliments to the chef—truly excellent work in the kitchen!

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the mini cannolis, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor.

Although Reno’s (formerly Maria’s) has been a staple in town for some time, their recent expansion into a charming sit-down dining area has added so much to the local dining scene. It’s cozy, welcoming, and a perfect spot for a relaxed and satisfying dinner. Reno’s is a real asset to Wharton, and we’ll definitely be back! (PS It's BYOB!)“
