“Yestoday Dessert Bar has so much selections from their home made gelato which is being automatically turned by their machines every few minutes, to their slush, and bobas ! I tried their Taro slush with black pearls. The amount and the quantity does not match at such an affordable price they give so much ! It was delicious and can’t wait to try their other items! They have a table in the front you can enjoy your treat. Definitely check them out especially since the warm weather is coming !“

“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“The guy that works there is amazing, patient and nice! By far the only employee that actually make sure he’s getting the orders correct. He’s amazing!

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

“i rarely write reviews but this place is so good that i must write one. i first tried their brown sugar boba back in 2021 and i was honestly blown away. it's a basic drink, but something about it differentiated them from the rest of the boba shops that also has brown sugar boba. every time i come here, their boba pearls are always perfect (not mushy, soft, chewy, perfectly sweet). i've also tried different drinks such as their taro puff cream, rose milk tea, and matcha creme brulee, and it did not disappoint. i believe they're reasonably priced too, compared to other boba shops where a large boba would cost almost $10. as someone who has tried most of the boba places in central jersey, i can say this place is definitely one of the top (in my opinion) in the area!“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

Overall a good first impression at a boba shop I've never seen before.“

“I travel a lot & sometimes I really need a lil pick me up. Akihi is on point. Refreshing fresh fruit, exotic juices & tea bursting with flavor. They do not skimp. This is premium right here. It's relaxing, while allowing me to maintain focus with some of the best tasting green tea. Excellent packaging allows you to grab it while you're on the run without worrying about spilling contents.“

“Great little tea house across from Hmart. Found parking in the rear which was great. I was originally going to get bubble tea from the place in the chain of stores by Hmart but there was absolutely no parking available. As I left I saw Mi Tea and went in. Ordered 2 bubble teas, their first 2 all time favorites on the list. I gotta say, it was very good bubble tea. I opted for the brown sugar and taro and it was amazing. Definitely recommend trying them out. Just be careful crossing rt 27.“

“Went to get a peach green tea w sago bubbles plus chocolate hazelnut waffles and they were really good. The tea was very refreshing with pieces of peach I would def recommend. The waffles were made fresh and were so warm and delicious. Will come back again! Also the cashier was really helpful on helping me choose a tea & really nice too!“

“This is one amazing bubble tea place in Rahway and it is right in front of the train station. They have unique milk teas like the Hokkaido and Okinawa milk tea which give me the chance to try new flavors. They have a cozy sit out area.

We picked the mango snow ice. We thought it was just going to be a small sample sized snow cup, but it's not! It's a full massive size (look at the picture). Kids were so happy about it ? the flavor was also very good ?“

“I ordered takeout today and it was fabulous! For some reason I thought that the menu was just dumplings and never looked further but it is so much more! The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. I got the Bao Entree Deluxe (with no green peppers), the Pepper Steak for my green pepper loving friend, and the Bao Sampler platter (came with 2 dipping sauces). I also got 10% off the next order :). I also did not feel hungry 2 hours later which seems to always happen to me with chinese food and I don't get it often. “I am not a fan of Bobba Tea, and in fact try to stay away from them as much as possible but accompanied a freind recently to Gong Cha, and I am happy that I decided on Gong Cha for giving Bobba Tea one more chance. I loved Tea flavor and the coconut jelly bits, still not a fan of the Tapioca pearls but it was definitely way better than other Bobba Teas that I have tried in the past.

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! Absolutely amazing taiwanese style dirty brown sugar boba. They make these tapioca fresh daily!!!! I got the #5 Tiger meets Pudding and it was OUTSTANDING. Such gentle flavors and textures in just one drink with so few ingredients, they should call this drink Tiger meets Magic!!!! Staff is very helpful despite large amounts of orders and is always willing to help and explain to you what is in their drinks! There was a long haired asian gentleman who was keeping the store very clean, washing hands after handling money and very efficient! “I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.
