“Yestoday Dessert Bar has so much selections from their home made gelato which is being automatically turned by their machines every few minutes, to their slush, and bobas ! I tried their Taro slush with black pearls. The amount and the quantity does not match at such an affordable price they give so much ! It was delicious and can’t wait to try their other items! They have a table in the front you can enjoy your treat. Definitely check them out especially since the warm weather is coming !“

“It was my first time there, and the lady who identified herself as the owner (Kelly) was very pleasant and helpful. She took her time explaining the drinks and their ingredients to me. I left there with 3 orders??‍♀️. The drinks were so good. Directions from Google were confusing. If you know the area, Highland Bubble Tea is on the opposite end of the bridge where Jersey Boys Pizza is located.
It can be tricky if you don't know the area. It's almost across from the new Performing Arts Center in Avenel! So, if you're looking at the PAC from Avenel St., in Avenel, Highland Bubble Tea is on your left side, across the street b4 going down the bridge. Lots of drinks and tasty snacks to enjoy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking and the difficulty in finding it. Enjoy!!!“

“The guy that works there is amazing, patient and nice! By far the only employee that actually make sure he’s getting the orders correct. He’s amazing!

The owner made my drink a month or so ago & gave me the wrong bubbles I asked for regular and she ended up giving me brown sugar and said can I come back the next day she will give me a free one lol long story short she wasn’t there the next day because I bring my daughter to this location and she was too lazy to fix my drink the day she messed it up. I get she was overwhelmed by working alone and having a lot of people ordering but she has to do better as an OWNER! I have a business myself and it’s a lot of things I do not do because you have to be professional.“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

“The most real fruit I've had in a boba drink since the time I ordered a grapefruit tea in Tokyo in 2005 and they gave me the most pure, unsweetened grapefruit juice and pulp.

I ordered the grapefruit passion four season tea (light ice, light sugar) and it's *perfect*. Extremely flavorful without being too sweet or with no sweetness at all. There's tons of actual grapefruit and slices of lime.

My spouse got mango passion oolong and there's just chunks of mango and fresh mango juice in it. It's very sweet and overpowers the tea somewhat but that's just me, they're happy with it.

My only wish is that the dessert menu was more clearly posted.“

“Great little tea house across from Hmart. Found parking in the rear which was great. I was originally going to get bubble tea from the place in the chain of stores by Hmart but there was absolutely no parking available. As I left I saw Mi Tea and went in. Ordered 2 bubble teas, their first 2 all time favorites on the list. I gotta say, it was very good bubble tea. I opted for the brown sugar and taro and it was amazing. “Have tried YiFang a couple times, but ultimately the only good drinks here are the fruit teas. So get the fruit tea, not boba. The boba topping has no brown sugar flavor at all and the teas are very weak. I do appreciate the owner's hard work but there are other boba spots within Edison that taste much better at a lower cost. Sunmerry bakery in the same plaza does boba for a better price.“

The quality and completeness of my order was refreshing. Such gentle flavors and textures in just one drink with so few ingredients, they should call this drink Tiger meets Magic!!!! Staff is very helpful despite large amounts of orders and is always willing to help and explain to you what is in their drinks! “I am very happy I took a chance on sunmerry. I’ve had sunmerry in Taiwan, and the products were very good there.

I ordered a taro pudding cake, and sunmerry delivered. The cream was light and airy, and not heavy/oily(like the frosting on the cakes at Paris baguette). The taro was actual taro paste, and the pudding was not overwhelming. It was the first time I finished a slice of cake with the frosting altogether.

I can’t wait to try more of their other cakes!“
