“The food was simply delicious. We had seen how well-reviewed this restaurant was and so we had high expectations coming here, yet we were still completely blown away by the quality of the food.
The shawarma had a perfectly flaky crust and the chicken was perfectly cooked.
The hospitality was also great. You can believe the hype. This place is a gem of Philadelphia.“

“The pho was excellent—rich broth and great flavor. Just a heads-up: they don’t accept cards, so it's cash only. The place isn’t the cleanest or most polished, but honestly, that seems to be pretty common with a lot of authentic Vietnamese spots. Worth it for the food.“

“Had the vegetarian calabacitas with a side of the consommé and it was amazing. It was like a beef stew in taco form. 🤤 and the abuelita’s Jamaica was perfectly paired.
Also the chips and salsa are perfectly done.
The staff was super nice too, being really patient with me while I was ordering, too.
Can’t wait to come back home hen in town!“

“I am still glowing in the warmth of the chic and cozy atmosphere, incredible service, and unbelievably delicious meal I had this evening. This was my first visit to Miss Rachel’s Pantry, and it was outstanding from start (delectable biscuits) to finish (pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream). While I regularly enjoy vegetarian cuisine, I’m an omnivore and haven’t had much experience with vegan food. Chef Rachel and team’s vegan cuisine was beyond my wildest imagination — a visual and culinary work of art. So delicious- I will definitely be back again soon and regularly! Don’t hesitate! Book that reservation and let your taste buds dance with delight!“

“Checked out The Victor Cafe founded in 1918, a little gem of an Italian restaurant in South Philly. All staff are also opera singers and perform an aria every 30 minutes. Also, this place was featured in Rocky Balboa and Creed as Adian's Restaurant. This place is definitely worth a visit. Recommend having a reservation.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“It’s a cute cafe. Banh Mi is good . Love how they use seeded bread. I like the blended espresso and my daughter likes the cookies & cream.😋 The catering food was delicious . My guests liked the shrimp tapioca wrapped in banana leaves. Spring rolls was very stuffed with lots of meat . Highly recommend this place!“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.
But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.
They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!
Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.
We're off to our reservation with David - can't wait! If you go, make sure to say hi to him and tell him Mink sent you!
Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“My wife, son, and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Saloon to celebrate my 65th birthday. All of our dishes were delicious, especially the soft-shell crab appetizer. The cocktails were also nicely done. I enjoyed a Manhattan before dinner and a chocolate martini with dessert. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Saloon is one of our favorite restaurants in the city.“

“Incredible experience and food was just as good. Service from the beginning was attentive and friendly. $30 + 18.5% tip for the 7 course meal. Every course was delicious and a large portion. They are BYOB but also serve house wine carafes for $12 along with cocktails. They do accept card but the machine was down when we paid. Plenty of ATMs in the area. Highly recommend this place for the food, atmosphere, and service.“

“Great spot wine was great and the flight was good fresh food the chicken on the pretzel ?? roll was fresh. Nice tasting room with a beautiful ?❤️ outside for seating and relaxing. “Café Diem in South Philly is hands down our favorite spot for Vietnamese food, especially their Bún bò Huế. My wife and I have tried this dish at countless places, and nowhere even comes close to the rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced bowl they serve here. The broth is deep and aromatic, the meat is tender, and the spice hits just right. On top of that, the service is always warm and welcoming—it truly feels like being served by family. The entire menu is solid, but the Bún bò Huế keeps us coming back. Highly recommend supporting this gem!“

“My days of flying are over. Warren and his staff took very good care of us at his bar. I highly recommend that my friends at Alaska/Hawaiian seek this crew-friendly venue when you start flying to Incheon from Seattle. Cheers!“
