“All the dishes were fantastic, but my favorite was the tandoori lamb kebab, it was absolutely delicious. The exterior was perfectly crispy, yet the meat remained tender and juicy. If you love lamb, you definitely need to try it. I ate an entire pound on my own. The guyru laghman was also great, with rich and flavorful seasoning. While the other dishes might not have been as remarkable, they were still well above average. The only thing that didn’t suit my taste was their dessert. The dessert was overly sweet, almost excessively so, though that might be their signature style. As for the service, it seems like only their daughter speaks English, but her voice is quite soft, and it feels like she’s contributing to the family business out of obligation. However, this doesn’t affect anything, I’d still go back again.“

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. “We had dinner at this restaurant today. The interior of the hall is simple. A huge chandelier enlivens the interior. The servers are modest and polite, it was very comfortable to communicate with them, they answered all our questions and gave recommendations. We tried plov, Marakand spec.wrap, chicken and beef kebabs, home made compot and Uzbek flatbreads. The food was served 15 minutes after ordering, very quickly. The prices are average. The atmosphere is calm, pleasant music was playing, I recommend!“

“Listen. The food was exquisite (Pide mix). Very few employees are as professional and respectful as the 2 employees there. My wife and I had an extended conversation with the young man, Vince. I was quite delighted with our discussion. He conveyed his deep commitment, understanding, and methodical work ethic relating to food handling and safety practices.
Having a background in medical sciences, it was refreshing to see young men taking their work with passion.
Too many restaurants nowadays have this nonchalant, lackluster approach to food health and safety practices, resulting in us consumers paying the food poisoning bill with our health. This place is different, and Bayonne is all the better for it.
Thank you for your examplary service and your commitment to making fresh food every day.
I also want to thank the owner for encouraging a deep culture of safety first. In a twist of fate, the owner happens to be one of my neighbours on the same street, but I haven't gotten the chance to meet them yet.
Keep up the good work.“

“This cart is right off the Grand Ave Station so I usually stop by on my way home.
The person working is usually different everytime I go but they are all so kind! And they really pack in what they can into the to-go container. I guess it depends on how much you eat but it usually lasts me 2 meals.
They take both cash and card which is also really convenient.“

“Didn’t try the food but came in for drinks one night. The bartender told the best jokes and made my friend and I a drink out of saffron syrup he had made. So delish. The owner seemed pretty chill too. Looking forward to trying the food in the future!“

“Soooo happy my husband and I find this gem of a restaurant! Best Iranian food ever! I don't eat red meat or pork, so I stick to chicken and let me tell you I could eat the chicken kebab and saffron rice every single day of my life I swear!😋 The bread is Persian bread, I can't think of the name, but omg delish! We eat inside atleast twice a week, the restaurant is always clean and spotless, and Ellie is our usual server: she's truly the greatest! Friendly, Efficient and just the sweetest young woman to talk to. All of the young ladies that work there are super sweet. With the world being so crazy and backwards right now, It's really nice to know we have a quiet little spot we can go to enjoy a great meal in such authentic atmosphere!“

“This little cart packs so much flavor into a silver tray of food! I am so glad a friend showed me this place.
The chicken is extremely juicy, with crispy edges. The rice has two different kinds, and the flavor profiles are aromatic and a little smokey. Typically a meal comes with two soups, salad, rice and your main. Which is a lot of food for what they charge.
I would suggest ordering in person if possible, saves you a lot of money. I do however order on their app often, it’s that good!
Again…. The amount of food you get for the amount you spend…. INSANE! I love this place“

“El Jardin is a true Mediterranean gem! The mint lemonade was crisp and refreshing, and the hummus was silky smooth. We loved the lamb skewer and grilled chicken—both juicy and full of flavor. The fresh Mediterranean salad was the perfect, vibrant side. Great food, warm service—can’t wait to come back!“

“i was passing by the area and looking for a quick filling lunch, very pleasantly surprised by how yummy their chicken doner sandwich was. You MUSTT get their homemade bread, it’s so soft yet a little toasted on the outside. The cabbage and pickles were so refreshing, a nice balance to the savory chicken. It was also GIGANTIC. You will not leave hungry for sure. There is a modest seating area in there as well, in case you need to rest a little before continuing going wherever.“

“Who wants to experience home food please, pay your visit undoubtedly.
Foods are fresh , prices are so accurate, services also satisfying, only their space is little smaller than others.
I loved their fish combo , their Chai, Alu puri, egg chop, kala vuna , lentil were awesome.
I don't get time to cook at home , most often I have my launch or dinner from them.
As a regular customer, I suggest everyone you will satisfy with their prices and food quality.
They should develop their biriyani and Chicken Curry but most other dishes are okay .
Thanks.“

“When it comes to plant-based dining, finding a truly memorable meal can be like searching for a rare gem. But let me tell you, Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab has managed to deliver an experience that I won’t soon forget.
Let’s start with the vegan wrap—though, to be honest, it felt more like a perfectly constructed sandwich. This birthday gift from a thoughtful friend had me stepping out of my usual no-tofu zone. And wow, what an exception it turned out to be. The tofu wasn’t just there for the ride; it was marinated to perfection, blending seamlessly with the veggie mix.
Now, let’s talk bread. A crisp sesame riddled exterior gave way to a soft, pillowy bite, striking that elusive balance between texture and flavor. Each topping brought its A-game, adding layers of crunch, tang, and brightness that danced in harmony with every bite.
And then there was the special vegan sauce—the kind of condiment that elevates a meal from good to unforgettable. It was creamy, tangy, and herbaceous, tying everything together like a symphony of flavor.
The experience was made even better by the cook. Their patience, friendliness, and genuine care shone through in every element of the meal. It wasn’t just food; it was a crafted experience that left me eager to return.
Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab isn’t just serving vegan food—they’re setting the standard for how satisfying, flavorful, and downright exciting plant-based dining can be. If you’re even remotely curious about vegan fare, or just crave a culinary adventure, this is the place to go. Trust me, one bite and you’ll be planning your next visit.

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“I have visited Aden multiple times and have always enjoyed my experiences. Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. Take the poor reviews of this business and set them aside as merely bad judgment on the reviewer's. This is not a fast food restaurant! Expect to wait a little, but you will be satisfied.Their Steinway Halal cart outside offers half chicken and kabobs over rice. Delicious!“

“Among the best in the game. I'd go to this place over any of those bigger companies (who often don't even use actual halal-style ingredients), no matter how many I try. There's flavor in everything you order. They always offer the best prices. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone who likes (or is interested in) halal food. I've ordered here many times and have yet to be disappointed. I cannot express enough how much I recommend this place, you won't regret it!“
