“Wow so so good. I wish I took a photo. I got the stir fry noodles but am excited to try more. Way better than a lot of other noodle options near by. I love the relaxed, hands off approach Asian restaurants have unlike that review from Jeff below.“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

“Went there on a Sunday night. The food was still top quality. The meat was juicy. And it was fairly priced. We ordered like 11 skewers and 4 plovs for 4 people. I’m not over exaggerating when I say this gave me a euphoric experience as I was hungry the whole day.“

“I will dream of the Uzbeki Qabuli Pulao for ages to come!
I've historically not been a fan of lamb, but this restaurant changed it for me. It was so tender and delicious, and the rice and carrots and raisins were so so so good. I don't often find myself in this corner of the country, but when I visit again, I will definitely be making a stop here!
We also had firnee, which I didn't manage to take a picture of before it was gone, because it was so delicious. 🥰“

“Soooo happy my husband and I find this gem of a restaurant! Best Iranian food ever! I don't eat red meat or pork, so I stick to chicken and let me tell you I could eat the chicken kebab and saffron rice every single day of my life I swear!😋 The bread is Persian bread, I can't think of the name, but omg delish! We eat inside atleast twice a week, the restaurant is always clean and spotless, and Ellie is our usual server: she's truly the greatest! Friendly, Efficient and just the sweetest young woman to talk to. All of the young ladies that work there are super sweet. With the world being so crazy and backwards right now, It's really nice to know we have a quiet little spot we can go to enjoy a great meal in such authentic atmosphere!“

“Butter chicken, goat doori kebab is to die for. Roomali Roti - just had it after ages. No doubt NYC has an Indian restaurant which can compete with the likes of Dum Pukht in India.“

“Been coming here since highschool. Still better than most halal spots ive been to both in taste and price. And the best thung of all is the owner himself. always with a smile on his face, always polite when serving. So loved by the community that while you wait for your food at least 2 people will greet him and he'll greet back.“

“My go to place for Uyghur food. Perfect for both dine in and take out. Just keep in mind that the tea is only available for dine in. Parking isn’t too bad, you might have to circle the block on Sunday’s. The food is fresh and so flavorful. Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area.“

“ordered the sandwich and it was so delicious. It was a bit too crispy for me but such a filling meal, so I didn’t mind the price as much since I really liked it and the meat was seasoned well. I would definitely get it again once my teeth gets better so I can fully enjoy that sandwich.“

“I had eaten halal Bukhari Uzbek food many times before, but if you are hosting strict kosher keepers in Queens who were bored of the typical pizza or grill joints, this was a must try for out of town guests.
I introduced my friends to many different Samsa (average), Plov (excellent, but only one recipe), Manti (average, real Georgian places are better), and IL salad (excellent, better than some Mediterranean places), everything was fresh and nothing disappointed.
I just wish they had changed the name 6 years ago after they started closing every Saturday, as C.S.S. is quite the mouthful to remember while gossiping about good places to try. they have about a dozen seats inside and another dozen on a sidewalk shed with quiet low foot traffic. for VHQ adherents, this is a must try, then try again and again until you've sampled the entire menu.“
“I have visited Aden multiple times and have always enjoyed my experiences. Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. Take the poor reviews of this business and set them aside as merely bad judgment on the reviewer's. This is not a fast food restaurant! Expect to wait a little, but you will be satisfied.Their Steinway Halal cart outside offers half chicken and kabobs over rice. Delicious!“

“Features traditional Afghan Food in a cozy space.
Food:
- Recommend getting the Sambosa (Fried Dumpling) appetizer, crispy and flavorful, and the Kabuli Palow (Afghan national rice dish) with kebabs (tender and flavorful)
- The Aushe Burida is risky, I personally thought it was overly sour and the taste reminded me of stomach acid...
Atmosphere:
- The space is small with ~10ish small tables, nothing fancy but acceptable, a local kind of feel“
