“We went there for a special occasion dinner. Everything... literally everything... was outstanding from start to finish. The service was absolutely on point. While not inexpensive, the food quality matched that of some of the best restaurants we've dined at in NYC and throughout our travels. In addition, the portion sizes were ample. I hesitated to order the scallops, as many places tend to serve too few to make it worthwhile. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that The Hill served plenty of scallops, which were impeccably prepared. Our server was absolutely delightful. We had a wonderful conversation with the host (owner?). After discussing how amazing the cocktails were, she invited us to the bar to see some of their spirit offerings and chat with the bartender. We will absolutely be back.“

Visitors should be aware that, unlike for other restaurants, the posted closing times are when everyone, visitors and staff alike, need to leave the building - kitchen closes 45 mins, and bathrooms 15 mins prior to allow for cleaning.“

“This is my favorite local place to grab a quick lunch, or grab food to go. I have converted most of my family to loving their chicken pot pies - they are divine and so easy to heat up at home!
You can't go wrong with any item on the menu, though my favorite is their farm burger with their lemonade. You can sit outside at a table (with umbrella) to enjoy the day, or sit inside. They have 1 bathroom open to the public.
They offer a variety of farm goodies each season: eggs, pumpkins, ice creams, lavender, and more.
The staff are always friendly and I always look forward to going there.

“Update: Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because I ordered the cilantro marinated chicken breast with angel hair and the chicken was hard and dry and the pasta was mushy and completely bland and unseasoned.

My first time ordering from here and the food was really good. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so good that I ordered dinner from there that same night. Both arrived hot and fresh. The only thing is that I thought the chicken sandwich came with salad (as pictured) but it came with fries. Either way everything was really good. They also have one of the best chai lattes I’ve tried in the city.“

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.“

“Our server Matt provided us with a great experience. He was super patient with our family of 6 plus my sister in law. He even gave us a great suggestion that saved us a couple of bucks.

The food came out fast and was great. This really would’ve been a 5 star review had it not been for the manager/supervisor Jose. We had asked the hostess for a high chair and never received one. I had made eye contact with Jose for a minute or two and finally just flagged him down. Rather than just grabbing it himself he went to find the waiter who was busy punching in our order…just one suggestion Jose, lead from the front….support your staff and help fill in the gaps rather than talking up clients at the bar.“

“I really liked the food that I got here. When we went, the hotpot stuff was not available so the owner just told us to order off the menu. He reco'ed the gamjatang and it was really good. The meat was so soft and it slid right off. I particularly liked the veggies in there. I also got the bibim guksu (spicy cold noodles). I told the owner I wanted naemyeon so he recommended the bibim guksu. It was really flavourful. Also - who can say no to unlimited kimchi! Highly reco this place. The portions were great for really good prices. And the owner was very nice!“

“I have been coming to Munno’s for over 22 years. I have never had better penne vodka and I travel extensively gobbling up food in different states and in Europe. The staff is always friendly and willing to take an order for a tray of penne vodka to be ready for us the same day. My family is now obsessed with Munno’s as well!“

“We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. “Patrick and his staff were amazing, as always. His daughters work with him and assist in Ensuring everything is running smoothly. Patrick does his very best never to lose a customer. I have noticed this on many many occasions, he is gracious and although a group may have walking on a Saturday pm @ 7 demanding a table, Patrick always manages to keep everyone happy and satisfy everyone's requests. It is an art and very obvious he has been in the hospitality industry, in management levels for quite some time. He is an asset to F&O, and all of Upper Saddle River patrons or those that have been to F@O speak so highly of Patrick, and enjoys being there on days they know he is working. He keeps a tight eye on tables and guests and ensures people are well taken care of.“
