“I have to say I was EXHAUSTED today when I went in to order dinner for my four crazy kids (7,6,5, and 3), my husband and self. I had the four kids with me and trying to keep them under some control - they weren’t terrible but not great. I ordered four kids meals and two adult meals. As I went to pay the cashier let me know the adult meals were on the manager!!! This MADE MY DAY!!! Seriously this stressed out tired mama was and IS so grateful - what an amazingly kind gesture that has completely turned a not so great day into an awesome one. Every penny helps with a family of 6 in Bergen County - this is HUGE and we are so very grateful!!!“

I must slight crowd good sign so far meaning the food was on a heavy rotation orders coming in and out, more of a reason for me to order. Who doesn’t like fresh food and they prices wasn’t bad at all let’s see how long that’s going to last before they start jacking it up,but that’s another story for another day. Place was clean so I placed my order mix over rice and lemonade to stay. They didnt missed at all food was on point for real great taste and proportion was good to I’ll recommend this spot to anyone uptown that haven’t gone there yet… I hope they keep this place in tact I’ll be back for more 🤘🏾“

“Can't blame for where this location is located. Parking is shared with a couple of other franchises with very limited. Small groups of youngins hanging out in the parking area smoking whatever which may create an uncomfortable atmosphere for many. Checkers itself is good. Fairly quick service, very attentive and clean store.“

It was good because the meat, bread, and cheese were just right.

I felt better eating while sitting at my favorite park, Crystal Lake.

“The white castle that's been here for decades went through a remodel during covid times.

Long gone is the window to see them cooking the sliders and the bench tables.

Now it's cut and dry interior of tables and chairs and window seats with a large space in the middle where additional tables could have been placed.

They sell merch: tshirts and caps and some other items.

The menu has expanded a bit more, so you have beef, chicken, fish, impossible to choose from.

“Was looking for Mediterranean food for my wife and I on a casual evening out and we were not disappointed. Super friendly/helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of food. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

“We visited the Nanuet NY location on Saturday 11/19/22. We were helped by both Anthony & Darryl. I would really like to extend a thank you to both those gentlemen on such wonderful service. We stopped in quick to order 4 sandwiches then visit with family, we had just driven about 2.5 hrs prior to coming into the store so where pretty cranky. The store was packed and these 2, as well as the other 3 team members, serviced everyone with smiles and thank yous. We walked out with smiles on our faces laughing. “This is a good Mexican Burrito spot in Middletown, good quality food, good service.

I ordered a Make-Your-Own Burrito and it was delicious, reasonably priced too, it all depends on what kind of protein you choose that will determine the overall cost for your order. And the atmosphere of the place was solid to dine in.

The menu has a good variety as well, more so in comparison to Chipotle I have to say.

Overall a good Mexican Burrito/food, spot, I recommend giving it a go if you are in Middletown, Pearl River area. Would order/visit again.“

Chicken could use more seasoning and yaroa could use more cheese, i’d give it like a 4/5. Other than that, reasonable pricing and very fast service. They also do delivery!“

Take my word for it: leave everything on the chimi — don’t take a single thing off! The flavors come together perfectly. They also have a food truck, but I highly recommend visiting the store on St. Nicholas — it hits every single time.
