I visited after a school tour in NJ and was warmly welcomed by the owner with all kinds of Vietnamese dishes: spring rolls, bánh khọt, pho, fried chicken wings with fish sauce… everything was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and feels just like home. A definite ‘must-try’ spot when in NJ!”

“It's a rest stop, yes. But it's Starbucks! Coffee and more. It's the good stuff exactly what you expect.
It's a rest stop so there's the big room cafeteria seating for all the restaurants and Starbucks has its own limited seating area.

This is a clean well maintained renovated rest stop.”

I’ve noticed many negative comments, but from my perspective, the staff here work very hard and handle a high volume of customers with professionalism. Often, there are long lines both inside and at the drive-thru, and it’s important to recognize that efficient service takes time. Despite everything, my orders have always been accurate, and the employees remain courteous. Overall, this location does an excellent job, and if you have worked in customer service, you will empathize with them.”

When my new credit card was temporarily locked, preventing any payments, they graciously allowed me to have my lunch. While I subsequently contacted customer service to resolve the issue, and I intend to settle the payment promptly. “It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. This one-of-a-kind mesmerizing event will remain etched as an indelible lifelong memory. Thank you so much - for making this magic happen. Wish Mr. Matthew only the very best in all his endeavors ! “For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.”

“I used to come there for some ice cream cravings. After trying like 4 different places around, this one blew my mind with pistachio ice cream, which is my personal favorite. Not only that the ice cream itself is properly flavored, it also has nicely sized pieces of pistachios inside. Their waffle cones are a solid finish to the ice cream. I miss this place a lot.”

“Went to Mission BBQ at Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, NJ on a Friday about 4 pm. Not many people there but more came in as we were eating. We were greeted as we came in. Guy behind the counter was patient with us as we decided what to order. We ordered barbecued shrimp (8 pieces in the order) and salmon ( a nice sized portion). We also ordered a salad to share (nice sized portion). Food came quickly and we really enjoyed it. A server named Justice was in the dining room and was very attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed it and plan to return.”

The caldo gallego (soup with greens, pork, white beans & potatoes), sopa pescado (seafood soup), chicken paella, pulpo (octopus with vegetables), and torta dessert were all fantastic! The chef clearly loves what they do and you can taste it! Great service too! Better than the Spanish restaurants in NYC, N. NJ & Philly and very reasonably priced! Can't wait to go back!!”
