“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

“The atmosphere of restaurant is great. Service was very good, and staff is friendly. Food was very good. My wife and I had the Turkey dinner and it was very good. Dessert was wonderful. Also tried a beer from a local brewery in Cape May that was on tap and enjoyed this as well. Look forward to coming back again.“

“5 stars because the food was good. The employees taking our order had better things to be doing than working, they made it obvious by how much they cared to be there. The other employee bringing food up to the counter was just as enthused to be working, made obvious by whispering the name on the order when setting out on the counter. Customer service was lacking, but the food made up for it.

“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.“

I'd gone over earlier in the day and arrived as a post-golf tournament banquet was getting underway. If the smell of the food being served was a good indicator. It must be delicious. If you're looking to please both American and Korean pallets, this is it. The concept is a really interesting fusion of Korean and American cuisine—if anything, I’d describe it as American food with a Korean twist.

The menu is surprisingly diverse, which makes it easy for everyone in a group to find something they’ll enjoy. We tried a mix of dishes—from the beet and orange salad to Korean fried chicken, quinoa bowls, and even pastas with Korean-inspired flavors—and everything was solid.

What really stood out was the balance of flavors. Nothing was overly saucy or overpowering, yet each dish had a distinct and satisfying taste. You can clearly pick up the Korean seasoning, but it’s subtle and well integrated rather than overwhelming. Even the traditional Korean tofu soup had authentic flavor without being overly spicy or heavy.

The atmosphere adds to the experience as well. The two-floor setup—with the main dining upstairs and outdoor seating available—feels cozy but still spacious. Parking is also convenient with street options and a small lot in the back.

She never came back to ask us for refills or to even check if things were okay. We asked to speak to a manager and he was as I expected very polite and helpful. “Visited for the first time on 7/2/26; I was intrigued by the rosemary, sea salt, sourdough bagel, so I ordered my pork roll, egg, & cheese on one. So glad I tried it, even with the upcharge for a specialty bagel. Really excellent flavor. “It's a great place! If you are not white,please don't go। Tbh we were having a great time, till we were outed. And only reason being is we were brown skinned. A party of 7 with 5 towers with everyone ubering . In my 11 years being in US,first time I felt racially profiled, that too in my community where I have my own home. Disappointed ofcourse, I am compelled to think about legal recourse because of the insult we felt. If you ARE NOT WHITE, DONT GO THERE. This is an absolute disgrace. And unfortunately, you might face racism from immigrants there. Unfortunately such is the state of this country, being racist will bring more customers. I feel sorry for the regulars. May be they are not racists, but they are patronizing the establishment. Please don't blame the waiting staff though, it's the management who is the problem.“

“We needed a place to get together after a game with a lot of people. The Colonial didn’t hesitate when I said 20 people. We came and they sat us in the back so we could all be together. Phil and Pedro were an amazing team. They organized our checks by family and all of our food came out hot, fast and delicious. So very thankful for this option in the area!“
