“5 stars because the food was good. The employees taking our order had better things to be doing than working, they made it obvious by how much they cared to be there. The other employee bringing food up to the counter was just as enthused to be working, made obvious by whispering the name on the order when setting out on the counter. Customer service was lacking, but the food made up for it.

1 star for atmosphere, because it’s a service plaza.“

“The atmosphere of restaurant is great. Service was very good, and staff is friendly. Food was very good. My wife and I had the Turkey dinner and it was very good. Dessert was wonderful. Also tried a beer from a local brewery in Cape May that was on tap and enjoyed this as well. Look forward to coming back again.“

“This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

However, I couldn’t really tell the difference between the lemon juice I ordered and w iced water, which was a bit disappointing. Still, this is a beautiful, open, and relaxing place. “Was checking my out for a possible birthday party location and found the manager and staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The space is ample and the golf course looked great. I'd gone over earlier in the day and arrived as a post-golf tournament banquet was getting underway. If the smell of the food being served was a good indicator. It must be delicious. “This was my first ever time at a Stewart’s Restaurant, and I can undoubtedly say that I was NOT disappointed. There are so many food items to choose from and they even offer a vegan menu. At this location specifically, the staff was very welcoming and were quick to check in on us when we needed something. I loved the root beer float and the chili hot dog, and I would definitely come here again soon.“

“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

“As you can see from the photo everything was GREAT. (Couldn’t finish the burger cause we over ate, but definitely took that home.) we order the honey soy wings to start they were impeccably crispy and tasted amazing. Our main dishes were the Korean burger with sweet potato fries & the gochujang pasta. Wasn’t sure what to really expect from them but I’m glad I took the risk because it was probably the best meal I had all week haha. Our friend order some type of beef short rib dish on bed of mashed potatoes I believe that I tried and it was very decadent and if that’s your thing then you won’t be disappointed. To finish we ordered some boba teas to go and that was the perfect cherry on top to our meal. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. It was really refreshing to find a restaurant that was so consistent from the waiting staff to the final product. Thanks for giving us a lovely night. (Side note: It’s BYOB)“

“I had a great experience at Iron & Ivy! I loveeeee going to hotel restaurants! I feel like I'm on a sense of vacation even though I'm not staying over! When you walk into Iron & Ivy, you're greeted by a beautiful fireplace and bright, stocked bar! The hostess was so sweet and recommended amazing menu options! We started off with the quesadillas and the bourbon bbq wings! When I tell you, the quesadillas were top 5 all time, they are TOP 5! They didn't fall apart and were toasted to perfection as well as loaded with shrimp and cheese and beans and corn! It was PHENOMENAL! For dinner we ordered the Grilled Flat Iron Steak and the Spinach & Roasted Garlic Tortellini! The veggies were so delicious and it was a huge portion that I was able to bring home for lunch the next day! For drinks, you couldn't go wrong with the dirty martini, the very berry martini and the Soccer Mom Lemonade! It was a great night overall and they have a huge inside / outside dining area! Highly recommend checking out Iron & Ivy and make sure you order the quesadillas because they are LIFE CHANGING!“

“We went to dine with this rag tag restaurant and the experience was awful. The waitress had no teeth and asked my son for his? At first we thought “hey maybe they are joking” then all of a sudden. They lady grabbed his front bicuspid. Needless to say - at that point we were concerned. Because we had a long day we were still hungry. So we stuck around. The next thing you know. The toothless individual brought another toothless friend and tried to get my tooth as well. At that point. We know. Time to get out of here. We were cooked. Unlike the food at this gross place.“

“Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.“

“Dootsie's Kitchen is a true soul food gem!

I had the whiting with collard greens and cabbage, plus two more whiting with fries—and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried just right, and the sides had that real home-cooked flavor you can’t fake. The collards and cabbage were tender and flavorful, like something straight out of Grandma’s kitchen.

If you're craving real soul food, Dootsie's Kitchen delivers with love in every bite. I highly recommend checking them out and supporting this amazing Black-owned business. I’ll definitely be back“

“I think this place is pretty decent overall. It's a solid spot for decently priced bagels, flavors pretty good but I wouldn't say it's the best. If you live nearby or in the area it's a solid choice and I don't think you'll be disappointed but it's nothing to write home about. I did try the loaded pork roll burger since it was made famous by Guy Fieri, and I appreciate him putting local spots like this on the map but its pretty overrated and not that great. Burger itself is pretty mid but the pork roll and bagel is good, I'd say pork roll burger is a 6/10, and the bagels are 8/10. The Reuben is surprisingly pretty good though.“

Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece 🇬🇷. The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries.The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. “I cannot say enough great things about Chef’s Rotisserie! The beef patties are our absolute favorite menu item but everything we have tried is great! Today, they forgot two of our beef patties that I paid for so I called them and they rectified the situation by personally delivering them to our home which is over 25 minutes away from them. That was greatly appreciated and we will be customers for life!“

The only complaint that I had is that it's $4 for a small cup of coffee. where you can get a large cup of coffee for either free or $3 at QuickCheck. The coffee was the same quality. And why is tea always more expensive than coffee. It's $4 for a small cup of tea.“

“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Tavern on the Lake for Hightstown, our 150th town.

Great eats and comfort food in a place that is at the center of the town. They have a fantastic beer selection on draft that rotates over time. For the fall season, we had a Hot Toddy and Spiked Cider. The French dip sandwich and crab cakes were great.

When there's warmer weather, they have a great outdoor patio too!“

I found this local, friendly, establishment to be just the kind of place we were looking for, and the food was terrific. Maybe not the kind of place you would impress a young lady on a first date, but certainly the kind of place where you could hang with the guys, talk shop, or just unwind. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We had a great night! And I would go back there again for sure.“
