“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“

“For dinner we when to RUMI and it was amazing! Appetizers absolutely delicious all our dinners were delicious fresh hot completely satisfied . And then we had complementary Turkish tea and we all had desserts which were absolutely delicious someone with a sweet tooth would love. “The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

I ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection. I also had the fresh mint tea which was great. Service is quick. The staff acknowledges you right away and very polite. The establishment is super clean and kid friendly. Prices are very fair, especially with today's economy. “We ordered Cairo Falafel through Uber Eats, and overall it was a really great experience! The platters were flavorful and filling, but the absolute standout for me was the grilled veggie pita with fresh hummus. I honestly haven’t had anything like it before — the vegetables were perfectly charred, the pita was soft and warm, and the hummus tied everything together so well. Just thinking about it now has my mouth watering.

The only downside was the falafel. While they had good flavor, the texture was a little too dry, and they didn’t have that “wow” factor I was hoping for. Given the name, I expected them to shine more, but they fell short compared to the other items we tried.

That said, the overall meal was delicious, and I’ll absolutely be ordering again. Cairo Falafel clearly does a lot of things right, and I’m already looking forward to having that veggie pita again soon!“
