“Dante's is a great place. We have been delivery customers for a few years always enjoying dinners, apps as well as fantastic pizza. Deliveries are always quick and efficient . Friday we had to stop by a chef from the CIA who lives in Cresskill and we mentioned feeling like a nice bowl of pasta. So it was no surprise that Dante's was the pick. It's definitely one of the best around. The menu is fairly priced, they are absolutely affordable and the menu is thoughtfully put together. Service was great . Our waiter "E" did a great job. He was on point with his attentive service. He was assisted by another young man and for Lydia and me , we appreciate seeing teamwork. It's what makes restaurants work well. And couple that with quality ingredients and a kitchen crew that works well together and takes pride in the product they put out, well you have a restaurant like Dante's.“

“Great pizza. Good prices. Best mozzarella sticks I have ever eaten. Not sure but I think they may be handmade in house. I make my own but If I don't have the time, there is nowhere else I will order them from. And their marinara sauce is phenomenal. (I think they may use San Marzano tomatoes)“

“Been here several times idk what took so long for the reverse, but this place is 10/10. Always great customer service and ambiance. Been for lunch when calm and busy dinner time. Food is always on point freshly made and hot. Flavors are robust. Pricing is average, but worth it. Love how much the business has grown. Can't wait to continue going back and bringing new people with me. The spicy calamari as appetizer never fails. For main course i had the penne (don't remember exact name) had mushroom and truffle added chixken as protein. My niece had the lobster spaghetti and she loveddddd it! “Had to do some Easter shopping so hot this place up . Been wanting to come here. Really cute place when you walk in its like being in a bistro in Italy . Started with clams Orengenata they were so fresh with a creamy lemon sauce . I had Veal Scaloppini with prosciutto and grilled zucchini and fontina cheese. Omg brown sauce was so good. Veal mostly tender. One piece was little chewy. We also ordered the ravioli special. They were stuffed with artichoke and cheese. Really flavorful and cooked perfectly. Prices very reasonable for the quality ingredients. Waitstaff top notch. Parking is annoying Cant wait to come back.“

“I was biking past one day and from the exterior I thought it was a dive bar and wasn't until I got home I looked up and saw it was a pizza spot. Went back for lunch that weekend and ordered the pizza and cocktail from the specials menu. Pizza was ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, and hot honey sauce. Cocktail was tequila, st germaine, lime, basil simple syrup. Both were delicious! A week later I came back for dinner on a weeknight. Just grabbed the wrecking ball pizza (pepperoni etc) and a hazy IPA they had on draft. There's a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and looks like when it start to warm up they have some tables outdoors as well. Both times I went my myself so I just sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Love this spot!“

“Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. The pizza was fantastic (much better than most neopolitan places in the US, though the pizzas are a bit more busy ingredient/topping-wise than your usual neopolitan pizza), had a great salad. I loved that they had a bunch of imported Italian beer, most of which I’d never even heard of before but was really fun to try. The tiramisu was amazing - tasted truly homemade with actual mascorpone, lady fingers, and the right amount of coffee and cocoa powder. And the lemon sorbetto was surprisingly great and came served in an actual lemon!! Will def go back. One of my favorite discoveries in NYC.“

“I just found out about this restaurant a week ago and I've already been back again. The food is slamming and so are the drinks! I had the Caesar salad with chicken in it any the flavor was freaking AMAZING. It felt like I was eating a MEAL and it was just a salad. Omg! Not only was the food FANTASTIC but the staff were attentive, friendly and fun to deal with and Joe capped off the experience by making us feel welcome and like family. My pasta fazole, veal saltinboca were SPECTACULAR, my friends said their seafood appetizer was so good they almost didn't order a main course but when I suggested the chicken saltinboca and her husband had a fish dish that brought him memories of his childhood we knew this was truly a wonderful place that we'll have to go back to. “So happy that Dante's is opened again... we do not have a history to what Dante's used to be as we moved to town not too long ago but what I can tell you is that we are so happy they're open now! It's so nice to have a local pizzeria to order from that you know is reliable, great, and locally owned. Dante's opened up with new owners who are from town which is always nice to support. We have ordered a good number of times now and can really say we have not had one bad order. Pizza- great and delicious! Pastas- never had a disappointing one. Salad and sandwiches have been pretty good as well. We are excited to continue to order from Dante's and continue to try different dishes. Service has been great with either you order in person or on the phone. They are friendly when you go in for pickup service and delivery. “Came in earlier this week after looking for a lunch place near the hospital. Cool, old-school room, great service and everyone loved their food: fetticini alfredo, sausage and pepper calzone and two Patricia's salads with chicken. The portions are huge -- it's like two chicken breasts on the salad. We had Italian for dinner the next night (won't say where) and we all wished we had gone back to Patricia's.“

I ordered pick up through the Slice app and my order was ready ahead of time. I ordered the phenomenal veggie pizza and since I am vegan, I ordered it without cheese. As always, the pizza crust is crispy and the toppings are beautifully proportioned to my tastes. I do not like too much moisture on top or the crust gets soggy. “Don’t know if it’s the best pizza I’ve had but it’s definitely the best in the neighborhood. It had the right amount of cheese and sauce. I had a nice window seat while I enjoyed a pepperoni slice and the buffalo chicken slice both of them big slices. “Nice cozy dark place. The entrance to the restaurant was..interesting and the atmosphere is pretty dark. The food was great. We had the breakfast platter and the bacon tasted like pork belly. The pancake has more of a cake taste and was thick and airy. It was certainly a unique unexpected blend of flavors but good.“

Their handmade pastas are ALL excellent (my fav is the bucatini) and their pizzas are soft and chewy and pillowy. The staff are all warm and friendly and the vibe is just relaxed and chill. “The pizza in my memory was never salty. At some point, pizza had become salty, sometimes with visible salt on top of the pizza...even in NYC...that I no longer enjoyed pizza. We tried the Classic Cheese Pizza. The crust was thin but crunchy. The sauce was perfectly seasoned; NOT SALTY! We also tried the Bruschetta and the Fungi. We didn't love these flavors as much. Bruschetta could use more cheese, according to my daughter. The Fungi, I loved the toppings but the truffle oil was a bit too strong for my taste. If you love truffle oil, though... But we enjoyed every bite of the crust. We will definitely return for the cheese pizza, and I'm looking forward to trying other toppings.“
