“We took the motorcycle out for a nice "long way" ride today. Live in Northeast Philly. Picked this place thru a random Google search. 80 miles each way. Almost 5 hours of riding. Loved it. As far as Minisink goes, we'll definitely come back. I hate flashy, prefer simple comfortable environments. That's why i loved it here. Nestled on the creek bed. Just felt like a nice place with a nice crowd. Food was great. French onion soup, wings, burger and Roast Beef w/cheddar. All tasted simply homemade. You know, damn good. “We had teddys for lunch and must say the cheese steak was one of the best you can get. I got a cheese steak before with their wiz and really wasn't really impressed, but this time I got it with american cheese and it changed everything. It was packed and not alot of seating can be tight, but if your the pocono area I think they have the best cheese steak.“

“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. “A small hidden gem, just right outside the downtown Stroudsburg area. This place is fantastic.. I have visited many times and every time it has not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, streak was cooked perfectly.. the various wings and sauces are amazing from mild to hot and everything in between, the pizza was crispy! as well as the stromboli...! and the specials are worth trying every time. “Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“

“I was told they had the best wings in town and while I don't have another place to compare them too, they were pretty good wings. My family and I devoured the 4 different flavors that we got. It's definitely a locals pub but I did not feel unwelcome there. The lady behind the bar was kind and let me know what their hours and specials were. “I've been going to 5 points since the 70s. Always had great bar food. This past Saturday, they had a Specials menu. On it was Lamb shank with Rossoto. I ordered it. The shank was awesome. The Rossoto was even better. Texture and taste were out of this world. Vincent is the chef, and I asked to see him. I told him I knew he was a good chef when my wife got her house salad. It was the perfect size and had 7 different ingredients in it. I hope they hold on to Vincent. He is committed to quality and great food.“

The staff was expedient and attentive to their work. They have a variety of drinks and beer, but you can't go wrong with a Guinness at an Irish bar. “Such a great space that looks like a Dove bar from the outside. Very cool atmosphere and feel of the place. Lots of fun things to look at and there was music playing on the TV that synced up with the stereo system. The menu is large but not many vegetarian or vegan items. There was a vegan pasta dish but it was just okay. I would go again and see if I could find something else to eat since the place was so cool. “Great local, dog friendly dive bar with outdoor seating and a view. We arrived after hiking with our dog and they had just opened. Our server was very sweet and kind, and checked on us throughout our stay at appropriate times. The food was solid and what you'd expect from a divey local bar like this and we were very pleased. Decent beer options, their menu was a little out of date as they didn't have the mango cart but not a big deal at all. I wouldn't hesitate to return my next time in the area! “Sweet Creams Cafe is truly a gem for great ice cream and a casual tasty meal! A word of advice, order the homemade lemonade. It’s so delicious, not overly sweet, and you can taste the freshness. My absolute favorite order though is the chicken Caesar salad with homemade dressing. It’s what salad dreams are made of! Perfectly chopped, perfectly seasoned, and overall just so delicious! I couldn’t recommend this place more for a great lunch in the heart of Stroudsburg.“

“I stopped in for a meal with my daughter and we were sat immediately. People were smiling, talking and enjoying the day, it was a nice experience. I ordered pork & cheese on a roll with cheese fries and gravy and my daughter got chicken fingers and fries. Our portions were enough that we brought some home. The food was cooked perfectly in my opinion and the gravy was so good I even asked for a container to take it with me. Even though it was a busy time of the day for the diner, our server was very polite, accurately took our orders that came back out under 10 minutes and made sure our meals were prepared to our desire. “This is a nice restaurant, My wife called ahead for seating, and we were seated fast. It didn't seem like a busy night for them, but they did have 1 or 2 other tables also sat. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the food availability. My food as pictured was very good. My wine was good. My wife was very happy with the crab cakes.
