“We had an exceptional experience. This was our first time dining at Capital Grille, Whippany and it was perfect from start to finish. The food was perfectly cooked. We each got steak and it was cooked exactly as requested. The sides were delicious (creamed spinach & roasted mushrooms), the shrimp cocktail was one of the best I've had. The presentation was beautiful. We were never rushed, the pace of the dinner was relaxing and enjoyable. Our server, Luisa G. was wonderful! She was attentive without hovering, she had the perfect personality for her job, she was personable, friendly, professional and helpful. The interactions with other staff members were also very positive. We also enjoyed the quiet, sophisticated ambiance. If you're looking for a true steak house experience this is it.“

He definitely is a seasoned waiter as he was professional, polite, and knew to let us eat dinner and relax. Some waiters / waitresses ask you 100 times is everything is ok. “Went here for dinner with my parents after spending the day at the NY Renaissance fair. Not only was everything we ordered delicious, but our waiter Ariel (aka AJ) was fantastic. He was super attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humor. We came when it was busy and he still checked in frequently and made sure that anything we needed was brought quickly. “Brian is a gem, great service and Drinks. Some of the other should take tips from him, not as good but overall service and food is very good. There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. Try them and you'll become a regular patron!!
