“Used to be my favorite place and ordered river vale at least 2-3x per week but hadn't ordered for a long time until recently i had craving for their ox tail combo and Cuban sandwich. sadly no more ox tail and both puerco asado shredded pork dish and Cuban pork were so bland and dry and burnt with the pressed bread which was like a stale burnt roll with 1 or 2 pickles..thats it. was disappointed the puerco asado dish didn't even come with rice and beans as was used to be included in the past. and no phone number available to call and talk to someone. very sad because used to be one of my favorites and probably will not try again.“

“Outstanding place!!! We came all the way from New Orleans and it was a must-have stop for the best Cuban sandwich we have ever had, hands down! The croquettes were also outstanding!!! You can tell everything here is made with a lot of thought and care. And the service was top notch! A super friendly, family run business where everyone could not have been any nicer or more welcoming. “My first time coming here and I must say, the food and service I was given was impeccable. Dining outside was rather comfortable despite the cold weather and the waiters I had were amazing. Being outside the atmosphere was rather simple so I'm unsure about indoor but it seemed cozy when I went to the restroom. I highly recommend people to check it out for dinner the most!

“It's a small but charming little Cuban Cafe and Restaurant. Seating is limited to a cozy corner with a compact sofa and chairs. The coffee is delicious and Breakfast. The rest of the menu are fried delectable Latin meats like pork, fried plantain, longaniza etc... They also have options to order large trays, which is perfect for party's.“

“I had a really good time here with some friends last night; the atmosphere was good, nice music, and the restaurant's ambiance was good. The food was overall great. They had one of the best chicken wings I've had in a good minute, and the overall service was not bad. They gave you time to prepare and decide what you wanted. I love the fact I can make a reservation before going there. It makes it a lot easier

“My husband and I drove all the way from Jackson Hole Wyoming and stop by to grab a bite, Food is excelent, everything is clean and looks healthy, staff is super friendly and helpful and the taste is top notch, American and Latin American food too. “Their menu food is what you need in your life... their buffet foods are delicious, but their menu foods are 5 notches better than the buffet foods. Taste is a matter of personal preference, but believe me when I tell you I've been there enough to confidentially say it's worth it despite spending 33 minutes looking for parking... My fiancée and I went 1/4/25, and he had the chicken in lemon sauce, and I had the chicken in garlic sauce, each with 2 sides...

Parking sucks but it's NYC, so you just suck it up because you're going to enjoy deliciousness 😋
