“So I had a rough start to my day, was in the mood to have a drink that evening so I stopped by this place on the way from work. Sat at the bar where Josh greeted me, real genuine dude i have to say. I had some stuff to vent out and he definitely was there to listen. He fixed up my drinks really well and offered me the food menu. Let me tell, you guys can’t pass up on the cheesesteak spring rolls. That’s all I’m gonna say, the entire menu speaks for itself and it didn’t skip my expectations. I’ll take my buddies back here whenever I get the chance that’s for sure!“

“In our search for a Sunday brunch outdoors, we ended up here and were blown away by the quality of the service and the food. From the moment we sat down, Luis and the rest of the staff attended to every detail and went above and beyond to create an outstanding experience. They generously provided recommendations and ensured that we were completely satisfied. The huevos rancheros and crabmeat omelette were flavorful and filling. “Impressive small plates, charcuterie, and cocktail. Great views of the valley. Perfect spot to hang out with friends at happy hour. Price was not too high, but it’s easy to go overboard. Special note: the ONLY place in the NYC area where I have been served real Sicilian anchovies (they are NOT like American ones).“

“An opinion only. The food is good. But, they made it clear that they did not value me and my patronage. My sandwich was stuffed with french fries to justify their pricing. The cashier said she asked if I wanted it "Greek style" when she did not. (Not even sure what Greek style" is). And put the wrong sauce on my falafel. They did not like to be made aware of my service issue. They did not value me as a customer, shown by the way they spoke to me, so I will not be going back. That's a shame too. This was maybe my 3rd time ordering. No matter how good the food I can not spend money where I do not feel valued as a customer.“

“Had an Incredible meal recently at Kurobuta. We started off with the shrimp ceviche and sashimi crudo. Both were excellent. We then shared the pan seared pork wontons and pork skewers from the char grill. Also delicious! My mouth is watering writing this. It's a BYOB but we had their pineapple spritzer mocktails which is pineapple juice with club soda and mint leaves. They come in a plastic pouch that somehow lights up. The place had a cool vibe. Was there for take-out another time and had their roasted pork fried rice which blew my mind. Can`t wait to go back again.“

“Hadn't eaten here in a little while. We really enjoyed the food and drink quite a bit! I love eating small plates and getting different tastes. Our favorites were the chicken and waffles, pulled pork sliders, shrimp and chicken specialty tacos and we ordered truffle fries (off menu) that were delicious. My boys don't love vegetables but they even liked the shaved Brussel sprout salad! We will definitely be back.“

“Food is outstanding I've tried everything on the menu my fav is the mushroom taco.. the restaurant is extremely small has 2 small tables I guess it's primarily meant to order and go. Tte last time I was there they were playing reggae music and my food was piping hot and delish as usual“

“As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“

“Service was great! Crab Cake was delicious, especially if you like a little spicy. Sliders and margarita pizza were also a hit. I got the special filet minon with lobster tail. Steak was a little overcooked but still tasty. My daughter loved the kids filet and mashed potatoes. The chocolate cake is insane! Delicious and can feed like 4 people! Great experience!“
