“Eatwell has been consistently awesome for many years now. Everything on their menu is spot on. The service and food presentation are equally great. And you can also order off UberEats as well.
Unlike some other places, they're always looking to improve their quality and service.“

“I recently visited Adidun for the first time while traveling from out of town, and while the food had great potential, there were a few key issues that took away from the experience.
We ordered a mix of traditional dishes: Abula (amala, gbegiri, ewedu, and stew), pounded yam with efo, and rice and stew with plantain. The flavors were rich, and we adults really enjoyed the spice, but the heat was overwhelming for my 9-year-old. Unfortunately, the rice and stew were way too spicy for her, and there were no milder options available. It would have been nice to see some variation in spice levels to accommodate different tastes, especially for kids.
One of the biggest disappointments was the owner's attitude. She was dismissive and rude, which made us feel unwelcome. Given that it was our first time visiting, we expected a bit more warmth, especially as we had traveled specifically to try this place.
There were also some issues with the restaurant setup. There was no running water in the sink by the door for washing hands, so we had to use bottled water, which was inconvenient. Additionally, while the flavors of the food were solid, some of the meats like ponmo and shaki were so tough that they were nearly impossible to eat.
In summary, the food had great flavor for those who enjoy spice, but the lack of customer service, tough meats, and the absence of milder options for kids were definite drawbacks. If you're a spice lover, Adidun has potential, but be prepared for some inconsistencies.“

“If you're looking for a unique dining experience that celebrates the rich tapestry of African cuisine, I highly recommend AMAT. Whether you're a seasoned explorer of African flavors or new to this culinary journey, you'll be treated to an unforgettable feast that will leave you longing to return. The owner is amazing and welcoming. Her food is truly amazing is ? all day everyday! Truly memorable!“
“My order was quite enjoyable. I had some large fish that was topped with rice that had been seasoned and sauteed onions and peppers. Since I had never really had African food before, I ordered something that didn't really fit with my order, so I really appreciate that they phoned me. The ginger beverage was flavorful, zesty, and refreshing.“

“Im sure the owner remembers me. (She remembers me as (Dre) the Amazon guy 😭) When you first walk in it might seem as if she has an attitude but she’s actually pretty nice when you talk to her and she even jokes around. I Discovered this place while doing doordash. Decided to come back again and try the Egusi and pounded yams as suggested by my best friend who is Yoruba. I got the assorted meats and everything was super spicy just like i liked it. I even had meat pie on the side. I’ll just remember to specify skipping the Pomo as I cant seem to like it, but the catfish, tilapia and goat buss 😋 I will def be coming back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Staff polite, served your meal right at the table. The place was well lit, spacious and clean, same for the bathroom very clean.
Parking: Maybe on the inside streets you’d have better luck but on the main road it wasn’t very easy per se“

“I’m from NY and recently moved to NJ. Where I live in NJ there’s not much African stores so I normally just go to NY when I need something. Today I was in the union area to pick up something from Lowe’s and decided to looked up African stores near me and came across this store. The store is neat, clean, and very organized. There’s a broad selection and was able to find what I was looking for. Also they provided excellent customer service.“

“I have always be a good value customer ever since this store was opened lol . I also buy from Uber eats 🤣 it got to a time everyone in the store knows my name whenever I call in the store lol. Any time I feel lazy to cook at home , I know that Nima got me covered, this place feels like home whenever you eating their food . I have 3 store I eat from ( Nima and Vigima and garden state ) every store has a specific food I buy from them but mostly Nima I have tried all their food . Why because it gives me the zongo taste of food so you don’t have to worry about missing home . Great food and good taste and good service. ❤️❤️🥗“

“Considering my past negative experiences with ordering from restaurants in New Jersey, I was hesitant. However, the lady I spoke to at Iyalaje's Restaurant assured me that I wouldn't regret it. For Christmas, I decided to give it a try and ordered some food. To my delight, the food was absolutely exceptional. I was thoroughly impressed. The lady followed up with me to ensure I enjoyed the food, and I expressed my satisfaction. This positive experience led me to order again for my baby's naming ceremony. It was during this occasion that I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Iyalaje herself. She was incredibly sweet and pleasant to deal with. We negotiated the price, and once again, she delivered nothing but the best. Every dish I ordered, from Eforiro to Moimoi, Ayamase to Asaro, along with goat meat, fish, and pastries, was impeccable. My guests loved it. In fact, my sister was so impressed that she ended up ordering food for Eid Al Fitr as well. I consider myself a food critic, but Iyalaje's food surpassed all expectations. You won't be disappointed.“

“I had a chance to visit Fatu's Kitchen and the food was amazingly delicious. My coworker told me about a beautiful place in NJ that sell Liberian food. I was little in doubt about the place and began to ask questions, because I was traveling from NYC just to get a taste of Liberian food, and man she did not disappoint me. In NYC, we often run into Ghanaian, Nigerian and Senegalese restaurants, but I never seen an established Liberian restaurant. Thanks so much Fatu for incredible Lib food!“
