Here is why no it was just 4 star for me The large salad deserved something more than a tiny cup of dressing I would have thought with a salad that size the dressing serving would be more appropriate. Make sure ask for extra dressing….Other than that all else was good“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“I got the chicken jollof. The people are very friendly and nice. Rice was just okay but the chicken was definitely very good. I would definitely want to come back but I most certainly will not. I paid $27 literally for some chicken, rice, and cabbage. Call it a portion and a half but I did eat the entire thing. Really though, I can go almost anywhere in this city and get the same, if not better, for $12-15. I’ll be honest, I am not even sure how they remain in business charging those prices to people. Well, that’s my two cents minus 2,700. Up to you if you want to give it a go.“

“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! “This place is outstanding. First time there as I saw some IG videos of this place. The location is at Saddle Brook Mall (at least that's what I call it). Plenty of parking. It was clean outside and inside. The atmosphere was modern with plenty of 4 seating at a table for the room it had. It did not have Dominican souvenirs all over. Now the food. We ordered Chofan with churrassco and Maduro. Also, I ordered 1/2 baby back ribs and chicharron pork bellies. They were out of this world. The bone fell off that no meat was left on the bone. OMG it was so delicious. The chosen was so much, it was more served for 2 people. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for and more. Would definitely recommend.“

I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi Bowl and it was a lot more than I thought I would get. So that makes the price even better than what I thought it was. “Jersey Joe’s is truly the best. They catered a large bbq I hosted this summer and did a phenomenal job, I’m still getting compliments on the food even now. This was the first large event I was hosting at my new house, and I was worried I bit off more than I could chew, but jersey Joe’s made everything so much easier for me. I didn’t have to worry at all, they took care of set up and clean up, they packed up all the extra food and even put it in my fridge for me, and all my guests raved about how kind all the workers were.
