“Always friendly and service is good. Food cooked and ready for pickup promptly. I love the board where you can add a sadaqa (charity) meal for someone to eat. You purchase an item on the menu and pin it to the board. When someone comes in who is needy, They just pick a ticket from the board and they can eat. What a novel idea to spread around.“

“Someone told me they had really good fried fish so I had to check it out!! Turns out it really is good! I got a 3 piece whiting with rice and a can of soda it came with bread and coleslaw it was under $12!! amazing deal! My one negative is that I bit into the fish and I had a bunch of bones in my mouth but it wasn't throughout the whole fish. Would definitely return“

And wow so glad we did , the batter on the fish was done to perfection ( even better than home ) the scotch pies were top notch and the empire biscuits delicious. “Just Go!!! My family was in New Jersey for a church event and I jus googled a seafood place and this came up. I was skeptical at first since it was 30 minutes to closing but they did not disappoint!!!!! My mom got catfish nuggets, yams and broccoli, I got catfish nuggets yams and mac and cheese !!!! And I got fried fish and sweet potato fries for my son. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing !!! The nuggets were seasoned perfect and a nice portion, the yams were perfectly seasoned and not too sweet. The Mac and cheese was good also!!!! The gave us there house sauce to try I forgot the name but it’s like a cajun maple sauce brown in color and it’s A1 on the fish OMG !!! It was closing time so there wasn’t any other customer but it smelled clean and looked neat. The lady that took our order on the phone was very pleasant and went over the order to insure in was accurate, when I arrived at the restaurant I checked since we were heading back to Long Island andeverything was correct and smelled amazing… if your in the area Go there. I wish I had got the banana pudding to try!!!“

“I'm not sure if it's a store tradition, but I should have known that you were going to serve me cold mac and cheese. Overall, the fried whiting dinner was excellent, and the fried shrimp dinner was passable but a little overcooked. Nevertheless, I gave you guys four stars without a doubt.“

I got the rice once. It was over seasoned and salty. Who puts raw seasonings on rice after cooking it? Gross.

I also got the collards once. Pretty good.

“El mejor lugar de alitas de pollo es aquí, soy clienta desde hace 2 meses que abrieron en Lyons Avenue y Bergen street, toda la comida la sirven muy limpia, les recomiendo mucho las ensaladas de camarón y los drum sticks, no olviden de pedir su postre para después de su comida, todos los postres están deliciosos, les sugiero el sweet potato cheesecake, uno de mis favoritos“

“I’m surprised at how fresh and how well the food is made here.I honestly thought this place would be like a regular chicken shack that’s why I never ordered from here.I was expecting greasy wings with soggy oil filled fries. BUT NO! So much better than I expected!The fries were crunchy and not greasy. The wings weren’t oily and they were fried perfectly!If I order fast food again I will definitely order from here.I’m glad they don’t add salt to the chicken and fries. You can add to your liking. But it’s so good a little pepper sauce or ketchup is all you need if not plain.“
