“I’ve been going to this place since I was a little girl. I moved 5 years ago and visited while in the Bronx. So nostalgic, same people there. The place is still clean. The fried fish is still some of the best I’ve ever had. No frills, nothing fancy still great. Brought my 14 year old along with me for the first time he loved the food as well.“
“Good food and service just know On Good Friday you'll be waiting forever for your food but this is one of my top fave fir seafood. Very Affordable great quality. Only once they didnt get my order right and cost me my entire lunch break on a Good Friday , prepaeing my order later than they told me why I gave 4stars . But I will travel from my home to here . “The owner is great, customer service is amazing, the food is delicious! Everything about this place is just awesome! I got the buffalo shrimp which comes with fries as well as the mac and cheese and let me tell you, it was delicious!! I drove from Rockland county and it was for a fact worth the drive ! “Great happy hour spot, me up with my husband here since it’s close to his job. Delicious comfort food. We had the chicken quesadilla, caesar salad, tavern burger, and french fries. The burger was our favorite. For cocktails, I had a moscow mule and my husband had an old fashioned. Service was good and super friendly staff. John was our server and he was on point. Love the ambiance, it’s a three level floor with a rooftop biergarten. We went on a Tuesday when the weather was 90 degrees, only complaint it was so hot inside with no AC. My husband went back again the next day with his friends, he also said there was still no AC that evening. We had a good time and would still go back.“

“Such a great spot! Stopped by yesterday for a quick lunch and it really hit the spot. I went with the fish and shrimp combo, and it’s a generous serving of both along with a pile of fries. I loved the seasoning in the batter, and everything was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. I walked out stuffed and happy. I’ll definitely be back.“

“A really nice place for breakfast chicharon... fresh food, big portions and very reasonable price, I also try other plates, all are good,specially jalea, xstuff are friendly, place is a little small but very cozy... I do recommend this place.“
“foods really good I wouldn't recommend getting anything fried as I know from experience there's usually more breading then there is seafood on the fried items. with that being said go in and indulge on several of the steamed items lastly don't forget to get the yellow rice with it last time I went they were charging an extra 2 dollars for the rice the price could of gone up a bit.“

“One thing I miss since I moved to New york is real southern style seafood. This place has it. The shrimp breading is flavorful, crispy, and fried perfectly. The shrimp is slightly sweet! Wasn't expecting that but it was fine and not overpowering. Very friendly staff. Will be back.“

“The fish is fresh and good. They have a large variety of all kinds of seafood.The problem is: the portions are too small. They are very cheap with the veggies and yellow rice on steam orders.I will speak to the owners to change this, since the food alone would get 5 stars!“
