“The food is great and at a very affordable price, the last time I came here it was great and not to mention super quick, the best chicken and the fries are amazing but the only negative part was that one time I went and because there is a nail polish shop next to it, it smells a little funny.Vegetarian options: SaladDietary restrictions: NoneParking: Kinda hard to findKid-friendliness: The people are very niceWheelchair accessibility: Ramps“
“I was craving some seafood even tho it was cold outside. I was expecting the worse. I have no idea why lol. But I got crab legs and shrimp with salmon and it was delicious even when I warmed up it back up. The butter was good too. Seasoning was just right. I will be coming back soon.“
“I stop by here whenever I'm in the area. I usually get the fried whiting and chips. Today, I wanted steamed seafood and I got what I was hoping for. The whitings, shrimp, red skin potatoes, and corn were delicious. I'm talking Full Flavor. I will be back.“
“If you're looking for a fish-only market that doesn't fried seafood AND chicken in the same oil, this is your spot under the 6 el train not far off from Parkchester. Unlike other fish fry spots that offer fried chicken wings in the menu, King's doesn't offer any at all. And as a non-poultry eater, this fish market worked out for me. Aside from the fresh shrimp, scallops, tilapia, red snapper and other basic fish, King's also offers steam seafood meals and fried as well. If you're going for the steam option, you select your desired seafood, veggies and seasonings- just ask for pricing. While they didn't (or don't) carry Rainbow Trout or Cod the day I stopped in here, I didn't want to leave empty-handed so picked up 2 Bass filets and 2 tilapia. Basic, but prices are good and so was the service.“
“The place is kept neat and is a clean environment, if compared to other markets in the Bronx. There was this particular gentleman with glasses who was a bartender at the fresh fish and fruit market that helped me with my service there, absolute charming with such polite manners, god bless. The fish is amazing and so great to bake or fry for any occasion, when craving a certain dish that is based around that. And the fruits, honestly to die for, I’ve been having my 5 a day due to the variety of fruits they have! However, there was an individual there who kept speaking with such a high pitch , it portrayed alarm and scare in me. For a minute I became a bit offended because I thought to myself, if this man thought I was deaf. Of course, I’m not, but whatever the case was, it really dismissed negativity in my ears. Improvements need to be made with the man toning his voice box down, because customers are right in the shop with him, not 5000 miles away in a different region. :-) regardless of the screaming seeming like I was in a haunted movie, this market is great, for a variety of home resources that are used in cooking or healthy alternative eating , totally a place to go to for your daily stock ups!“
“I have been coming to the seafood place for years ever since I was, and I think seventh grade. It hasn’t changed much. It’s very no-frills;basic; functional. However the seafood is top-notch for a hole in wall spot amazes me in New York City has a hole in the wall spots always seem to have the best food this place. The food is pretty good the customer services to the least functional straightforward and they get the job done well, my friend.“
