“Great happy hour spot, me up with my husband here since it’s close to his job. Delicious comfort food. We had the chicken quesadilla, caesar salad, tavern burger, and french fries. The burger was our favorite. For cocktails, I had a moscow mule and my husband had an old fashioned. Service was good and super friendly staff. John was our server and he was on point. Love the ambiance, it’s a three level floor with a rooftop biergarten. We went on a Tuesday when the weather was 90 degrees, only complaint it was so hot inside with no AC. My husband went back again the next day with his friends, he also said there was still no AC that evening. We had a good time and would still go back.“

“Today was my first time visiting My Fish Restaurant, and I have to say it definitely lived up to the hype! The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The service was outstanding from the moment I received my meal. The gentleman who handed us our food was incredibly polite and even offered my boyfriend and me a sample to taste along with a complimentary drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
It’s little acts of kindness like that that make a dining experience memorable. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful seafood. This restaurant is absolutely worth all the hype!“

“Famous Fish in Harlem 145st and St.Nicholas is the best fish and chip spot ever. I've been going for 20 years now…. Also, I wish they didn’t add extra things on the menu seeing how it slowed down service because they only have one grill, and take online orders too. This causes a long wait time.“

“A good no frills takeout spot. The food is definitely budget friendly, and the service is on point. We had the fish and it felt nice and homie. Ditto the mac and cheese. The employees you got in and out without unnecessary chit chat. It's worth a visit if you're in Brownsville.“

“TLDR: Solid fried chicken roll, chicken came out a bit too hot and maybe a bit too much on the sandwich toppings-wise.
Sandwich was served fresh, and was very good (chicken was light and almost tempura style) - the toppings gave the overall sandwich a distinctive Thai flavor. Decent value for price, and great service / cool vibe.“
“The food was delicious, I can't wait to visit again. Keep up the great standard guys..One love!!!“

“With me having high blood pressure, it was amazing to have Fish & Amps yesterday. When I got to my hotel and took my first bite of Flounder, I was not greeted with 10 pounds of seasoning. Then I ate the Mac n cheese. OMG!!! No blood pressure pill for me. Lastly, the collard greens...Wooow!!! Overall, I did not have a major headache after eating this food. If you are someone who suffers with high blood pressure, please visit Fish & Amps. Hope they are open today (4th of July), so that i can go get more food to take back to NC.“

“I cook and sell food so when I can get some good food that I didn't have to cook it's definitely a winner and this food was just that. The service was good as well as very pleasant. I Highly recommend best $65 spent on food in a while. I will definitely be a regular!!“
“My friend brought me here when I was visiting San Francisco and I wished he brought me here multiple times (but theres so much good food in SF). The fish were crispy and the meat was nice and tender. The fries were nice and thick and salted nicely.“

“I was visiting Brooklyn and needed food, I looked up fish on yelp. It was like ennie mennie minnie moe. I chose Soul of the Sea after I viewed the menu. I called first to see if they are open because a lot of businesses closed due to COVID-19. Someone answered immediately and did in fact confirm that they were open. I informed them that I was coming but. When I arrived I announced that I called and placed my order. The person that took my order was very kind, friendly, and courteous. His customer service was fantastic. I ordered the fish sandwich and asked what kind of fish was on the sandwich, he directed me to the menu and said, whiting, do you see it under section of fish sandwich. I did conquer. He told me the price and asked if that price was fine. I said yes and then ordered a carrot cake. His attitude compelled me to buy something as I was eager to support a mom and pop style restaurant. I told the person taking my order that I was passing through and needed to eat. He thanked me for stopping in. The interaction was wonderfully pleasant, the store clean and the staff was attentive. The person that came to the front of the business to sweep, greeted me and thanked me for stopping in. This is an A class, 5 star service restaurant when it comes to serving the customer. Enough about the interaction and now the food. The sandwich was proportioned with a decent amount that was not too filling. I'm used to pieces of fish that were too long for the bread. I am also very pleased that they gave me wheat bread instead of white. The carrot cake was surprisingly not too sweet as I didn't want nothing sweet sweet. Bravo guy's“

“The best fried fish in town. Small husband and wife joint. Nothing fancy to witness but you can appreciate the food they serve it’s such a hidden gem and it’s my all time favorite spot. Took my friend here for lunch today for the first time and he said the best beans in this area hands down.“

“I visited this restaurant for the first time last summer, upon moving back from Florida and baby it did not disappoint. I went with my co-worker the other day and of course I loved it, but she did as well and is looking forward to going back. The staff is very helpful and great. Truly always positive vibes and energy and I'm here for that especially from a black owned business. I love it 10 snaps and a twirl.“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday, let me tell you , if I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would.
The escovitch snapper meal with rice and peas, steam veggies and Macaroni salad was simply amazing.
What was even more impressive was the level customer service.
I will certainly be back!!!!“
“I’ve been going to this place since I was a little girl. I moved 5 years ago and visited while in the Bronx. So nostalgic, same people there. The place is still clean. The fried fish is still some of the best I’ve ever had. No frills, nothing fancy still great. Brought my 14 year old along with me for the first time he loved the food as well.“

“I'm not sure if it's a store tradition, but I should have known that you were going to serve me cold mac and cheese. Overall, the fried whiting dinner was excellent, and the fried shrimp dinner was passable but a little overcooked. Nevertheless, I gave you guys four stars without a doubt.“
“📍 This photo shows the exterior signage and entrance to Andrew Lee's Fish Market. A neighborhood gem located at 1228 Fulton St. in Brooklyn. The market is a local favorite for its quick service, high-quality ingredients, and reasonable prices, making it a reliable destination for classic seafood meals in the area. ★★★★★“
