“We’ve had Cadence on our list of places to try for a while now, and once we knew we’d be back in the city, we had to make it happen. For starters, the restaurant is intimate without being intimidating, and the staff are all beautiful people who seem joyful and genuinely happy to celebrate their food. We started with the potato salad w pickles and the fried green tomatoes. Ordering potato salad doesn’t usually scream excitement, unless you’re my wife, then it’s basically sexy talk. Cadence’s potato salad was super creamy, deliciously tangy with the pickles, and was the night’s favorite for both of us (A+).The fried green tomatoes come with a savory romesco sauce that really rounds out the dish. I wouldn’t say it was an all-timer, but we definitely enjoyed it (B).Next, we had the buffalo oyster mushroom sandwich, which looks amazing on the plate. It’s a tower of a sandwich that’s not easy to eat without getting a little messy. The buffalo sauce and avocado set it apart (B). We followed up the buffalo sandwich with the maple buttermilk cornbread. This dish, a frequent flyer on their Instagram, is everything you want in a cornbread. Crumbly, sweet, savory, and served with a generous dollop of vegan butter that makes it waaaaay too hard stop. This was a perfect dish (A+), only drawback was we were already getting too full to eat it all. Would have preferred to have it earlier in the meal.Last, we had the lemonberry cake for dessert. Delightful. Lemony, sweet, but not overly so. A beautiful dish. The candied lemon rind was definitely a favorite for me (A).“

“I recently dined at Everdean and had an exceptional experience, thanks to our server, Mamun. From the moment we arrived, Mamun made us feel incredibly welcomed with his warm smile and friendly demeanor.
Mamun is the nicest and most attentive server I've ever met. His genuine care for his customers and attention to detail were outstanding. He made excellent recommendations, checked on us regularly, and handled our requests with grace and efficiency.
The food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely, but it was Mamun's exceptional service that made our visit truly memorable. If you're dining at Everdean, ask for Mamun – you won't be disappointed!“
“If you love craft beer, a chill vibe, AND the east village, then you'll love Proletariat! It's a very spacious place that provides a beer menu on the wall right when you walk in.They have seating but no wait staff so you'll have to order your drinks at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable and very friendly! If you want to have a nice conversation at a place that isn't too loud while enjoying a variety of beer, then I highly recommend Proletariat. I'll definitely return. ?“

“This is one of NYC's top destinations to enjoy delicious food, a uniquely thoughtful beverage program (including a wine selection second to none), and hospitality that can't be beat, all in a space with a minimalist warmth that creates an incredibly calm and welcoming sensation upon entering...just like a luxury spa. As a huge bonus, a carefully-curated audio component effectively wraps your table in its own sound bubble, allowing for crystal-clear conversation so you can discuss every detail of your culinary experience without feeling any audio intrusion from the table next to you. Chambers is as close to perfect as it gets for lovers of fine (but humbly unpretentious) dining.“
“Great selection of canned beer and cool ciders. Taps are limited but fresh.“

“I recently visited a craft beer bar that really stood out for its selection of cans and bottles. Their array of choices caters to all sorts of craft beer aficionados. A personal highlight was the Hop Butcher on tap. The service here deserves mention - not only were the staff friendly, but also knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, the glasses provided for the beer were perfect, enhancing the drinking experience. This bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good craft beer.“

“My wife & I visited Craft & Carry in Chelsea after a lovely walk from Washington Square Park on a very warm day. We were looking for a place to relax & enjoy some cold beers, & we found it here. The staff was friendly & helpful, & they accommodated my mechanical wheelchair with ease. We were the only ones there, which made us feel comfortable. The beer selection was impressive, & we tried some of their local craft beers, which were refreshing & delicious. We had a lovely time at Craft & Carry, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot in Chelsea.“

“Aug 2, 24 - stopped by today. Was extremely impressed by the service, food and overall hospitality. Pictured here is the chicken Hakka noodles, and American chop suey. It was definitely authentic indo-Chinese. They also gave us complementary coconut custard ? Will definitely recommend and look forward to returning when we visit New York again.“

“Went here last night on stop along my mission to try all Israeli restaurants in the city and it was outstanding. Ordered a shawarma pita with fries and the portions seemed super generous for the price. The Tahina was delicious and their Amba sauce was absolutely delicious. Great textures from the fresh ingredients and great flavors
Absolutely delicious food in a welcoming family environment. The staff working were super friendly and kind, very knowledgeable and eager to help you make a choice.
10/10 will come again and will recommend.
Be aware if it is raining you’ll want to plan for take out but on a sunny day I’d imagine their outdoor seating would be a very charming neighborhood experience.“

“Went to Greywind for our anniversary (shared with another couple) and everything about Greywind was perfection to the potbelly decor, amiable service and a perfectly executed meal from a creative menu. Chef Dan Kruger is hands-down one oof the best chefs in the city.
Vegetarian options: Greywind like all of Chef Dan’s restaurants is a vegetable forward restaurant.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“Stopped by Holy Pita for a quick bite before dinner. We ordered a few appetizers including the falafel, sumac fries, Moroccan cigars and wings. The fries were my favorite. Nice and crispy, packed with flavor. The Moroccan cigars were a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I trusted the recommendation given by the cashier and happy we gave it a try.“
“Great beer bar. Wonderful rotating taps and a nice bottle selection.“

“I had a great experience at this cool neighborhood spot while visiting from out of town. The quality and creativity of the food was matched or even surpassed by the imaginative beer program. I'm normally a wine drinker, so I appreciated the parallel treatment of beers, including the interesting flavor profiles and thoughtful stemware. The service was very friendly and attentive.“

“This neighborhood gem is perfect for a rooftop experience under the NY skyline. We went at 4:30 on a weekday for a business drink and it was quiet for 30 mins til the after work happy hour crowd filled up. Fun vibe and views regardless. One thing that we didn’t appreciate was the sneaky 20% gratuity added to the bill so beware before you tap the 7%, 5%, or 3% tip option on the payment screen. You’ll be paying a 27%, 25%, or 23% tip if you do. While the auto tip addition is noted on the menu (the bartender explained), it’s easy to miss. The on-screen bill you sign omits that important info. Not cool.“

“My partner brought me here for a celebratory dinner and we had a great time!
From the thoughtfully prepared dishes in the tasting menu to the intimate setting and interaction with the chefs, we enjoyed our evening greatly.
We heard that it’s been around for a bit although they recently renamed.
Comparing our tasting menu variety and decent portion sizes to the larger (& proportionately priced) a la carte portions some of our neighbors ordered, I’d def go with our choice again.
I’m not a big drinker but my partner seemed to enjoy his recommended drinks (we didn’t go for the pairing as that would have been too much alcohol)
Photos seem to have uploaded in reverse order, lol.
The only gripe I have would be that the beef dish was overly tough and we were a little puzzled that it was touted as wagyu.. but otherwise a very seafood focused menu which I loved!“

“I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff at this hotel. Everyone is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. They really make you feel welcome and will go out of their way to do whatever is needed to make your stay pleasant. We had a small billing snafu and an issue with being able to retrieve our car from the parking garage due to an unforeseen parade. The staff was extremely apologetic and worked to rectify both situations with such grace. Lucas is a lovely person and really set the bar high for other people in the hospitality industry. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Besides the amazing staff, the hotel itself is well appointed with a funky first floor lobby with a bar/restaurant and coffee bar, great guest rooms and really cute rooftop bar. 5 stars all around. I will return.“

“Pinkerton sits on the lovely corner of N 6th & Havemeyer and I am lucky to live nearby. This wine bar is picturesque and makes me feel like I am a character in a movie. Staff is friendly and attentive. My go to’s are the orange wines; only a few wine bars in the area have them. The appetizers are elevated both in selection and flavor. Indoor and outdoor seating are both enjoyable.“
“Great craft brewery with a wide variety of beers ranging from sours to IPAs to stouts, to lagers etc. An always rotating selection means you’re never bored drinking here. The bartenders are friendly and always willing to give you a taste before you buy. Special events and themed beer names keep it interesting with very different combinations of ingredients. Always enjoyable! Highly recommended.“

“Alfonso at the door was fabulous from the start! The DJ was top notch we could've stayed all night listening to him kill it!! The rooftop is good but nothing over the top. Food was good - we had the chicken sandwich, double cheeseburger and the fries. The biggest opportunity is service and the reason we ended up going somewhere else was because we couldn't get a 2nd drink. We had to ask 3 different servers for our check and waited more than 20 minutes for our server to close us out. Food and atmosphere was so good we'd definitely go back. I recommend a reservation if you want to be seated.“

“I'm hesitant to leave a good review because I don't want this place to blow up. It's honestly shocking to walk into a bar anywhere in NYC on a Friday night and not be crammed in like sardines while music plays obnoxiously loud.I don't know how they do it but Antler is a chill low key spot with a pretty big space in the back for small/medium sized groups. The prices are also incredible.“

“My friends & I went to Vinoteca last week and had such a wonderful time. The wine is very refreshing & delicious!! I love the fact that it’s self-served. To top it off, the food was out of this world!!! The staff was very kind & attentive and I would recommend Vinoteca to all, but, most importantly to all the wine lovers. You would soon make this your to go to place. We had such a great time last week, we will be doing it again this weekend. Come along, hopefully I’ll see you there!!“
