“My friend and I co-hosted a going-away party here in the evening for about 25 people, and the venue was fantastic and incredibly easy to work with. We weren’t doing anything super formal—just a mix-and-mingle with two different groups of friends celebrating together in New York City as we move on to our next chapters.

Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated that the events manager didn’t make the gathering into a bigger production than it needed to be. They understood exactly what we wanted and helped us host something really fun.

The service was exceptional, and our waitresses were awesome. Everyone was able to have a separate check, and there were no complications whatsoever. The bar does close at midnight, which was a little annoying, but ultimately no big deal.

The venue itself is gorgeous: beautiful design, a total vibe, great lounge-style electronic music, and unreal views of the Empire State Building and the beautiful European-style architecture across the street. The red piano also makes for great photo ops.

“My waitress was Katie Jane what an extraordinary girl she so nice and friendly it was a treat. Really. The wine I had was very good. The potato tots(?) not so much. Insane huge portion for one woman and hmmm no. Sommicj potential this dish but I expected better from you! At least for 1 person cut the portion in half ! To begin with. The view was great . Over all: I am glad I came.“

“I just had my 40th Birthday in the yard at the Gowanus location. The location is very conveniently located a short 9 minute walk to many trains. From the start of contacting Threes Brewing to the day of my event it was A+++++++ customer service. During the event the servers were also AMAZING and our personal server, Fletcher is absolutely incredible. My friends and family had nothing but great things to say about every little thing. Food was also delicious. I will definitely be going back and hosting future events with them.“

“I frequently support OH. I love their beer and go to their locations in Brooklyn and at Rock Center. I was recently disappointed recently by the pours and prices during an Oktoberfest collab event at the Rockefellar location. However, the manager (Dave) was very kind in approaching me about the issue and was very sincere and personal in his acknowledgement that they were trying something new. I really respected that and would like to give them credit for addressing a customer complaint instead of ignoring it.“

“Slow evening so may have been the night we were there. Food ok, tuna dish was well done vs rare but restaurant offered to correct and comped it. Shrimp appetizer was fresh and very good. Server disappeared for a while, for $100pp would like more service. Restaurant itself is very nice and like that it is easy to access from the street.“

“Between the aimrt and the staff, this place is awesome. I have heard that the beer is also awesome here too(but I can't drink it). However they have more than beer and they have na too! They play all the major sports if that's your thing. You can reserve tables for parties. Beers are great, staff are great! Seriously give them all the tips. And they often have pop up food, whis had always been spot on! Tonight was good by Q! Yummm... I hope you get a Q food night! Also, all bathrooms are non gendered and clean. Drink here be happy..“

The manager and owner were so helpful before hand - helping me figure out the menu, ordering a few non-alc wines, make sense of the space - and then were accommodating, gracious, and so responsive during the event. “Finally decided to try Bernie’s and I was so pleased with my experience. They do the simple things SO well. By far the best moz sticks I’ve ever had. The burger was incredibly solid. The Cesar could’ve used a bit for dressing. I also got the tiramisu special and it was HUGE. Omg I couldn’t finish it all by myself but you definitely get your moneys worth. “On vacation as a joke, we searched for "the worst bar near me" which led us to this amazing little place. We had the absolute best food! The waitstaff was attentive, fun, and helpful. Prices & portions were fair. The whole vibe of the area was low-key & pleasant with the dog-friendly patio, next door local shops, and other patrons. If these Wisconsintes find ourselves in Jersey City again, we will absolutely make a dedicated return to the Wurstbar!“

“What a hidden gem! Namdo Brooklyn has a lovely, modern interior with a cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe that makes it absolutely perfect for a date night. Unlike a lot of trendy spots, it wasn't overly loud, so we could actually sit back and enjoy a great conversation.
The perilla seed oil noodles were incredibly flavorful- as a Korean tryuly enjoyed it and Yangneum fried chicken was crispy & sauce was tasty reminded me the famous one in Sokcho, Korea that I craved! My husband loved the kimchi fried rice with pork belly-!

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

“Crown Alley is literally one of the best happy hours in New York City. Their beer selection and cocktails are amazing as well as the vibes are always so high and they play fantastic music. “After a long walk on the Upper West Side, I came across this spot. It was very nice, with a great selection of beers to help beat the heat. I really enjoyed it and will be coming back to get one of those big cans to go. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. The arcade machine was a total plus. I love those things. The pita is fresh and warm, the shawarma is cooked perfectly on the rotisserie, and each topping is delicious- the humus, tehina, amba, onions... plus ... served with a smile! Open late too!“
