We rented the entire upstairs private floor with a cash bar, and it worked out beautifully. They catered the event, and the food was absolutely phenomenal, with plenty of menu options to choose from. More than anything, Bee's Knees was a dream to work with ahead of time - they were incredibly flexible and timely with space access, design of the space, and answering our multitude of questions. I would host a private party there again in a heartbeat.“

“Very traditional Polynesian/oriental food. There are very few sit down Chinese restaurants anymore and this was a throwback to my youth. From the fun kitchen decor to the phenomenal pu pu platter and flaming drinks. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely.“

“The space is incredibly photogenic, with a dark, moody aesthetic that feels very Art Deco and timeless. It’s elegant without feeling stiff. After sharing photos on social media, several friends pointed out that this is the famous bar featured in Gossip Girl, which made the experience even more fun

We ordered a spinach dip, which was delicious, and a couple of cocktails that were very well crafted. The service was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as it’s very hard to get a spot as a walk-in.

“Came here for lunch and it’s honestly a great place. Big table with plenty of room, some half-private cabins. During lunchtime, there is jazz background music. The place is a bit noisy.

The Caesar salad was made with fresh anchovies. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also really well made.

The waiters and the staff are very friendly. There is a special room for hanging your coats in case you’re coming in on a cold day.“
