“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“My sister and I got 2 bingsoos (black sesame and rice cake), a sweet potato latte, and a pistachio dacquoise. They were all very delicious and unique.
The sweet potato latte has a strong sweet potato taste, which satisfies the soul and the dacquoise was very soft and chewy. The bingsoos was also very unique. It kind of had a dry(?) flake to it, but I liked the texture of it. I do wish there was more red bean in it, but it still hit the spot.
Would love to come back and try more of their pastries.“

“We had a surprise 50th birthday party for my sister in law and got our cake, cookies, and pastries from Rispoli’s Pastry Shop in Hawthorne. The cake was tremendous and everything was outstanding. The attention to detail for what I wanted was phenomenal. The owners and staff are incredible and accommodating and I received many compliments on the design as well as the cookies and pastries. However the guys at the cash register (Senny and Denny) were super nice and made a very cute sign for me anyway, which I really appreciated. “Tried the USR location this morning as it's located around the corner from my office. Front staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with assisting me to navigate options as a first time visitor. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!“

“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“
