First restaurant I thought of recently when in dire need of a comforting and safe meal that was both familiar and yet exciting at the same time. If I was to embody Remy the Rat from Disney Pixar’s ‘Ratatouille’, this would be my ‘Gusteau’s’. My culinary sanctuary. For many, asian cuisine is seen as a last minute idea and has been portrayed in media as the ‘take-out go to’ which often flattens and stereotypes the flavors and experiences associated with the cuisine. To me, this restaurant is more than a last minute decision. It feels like a homemade meal just for you, dine-in or takeout.“

Siam duck is incredible. So are all the appetizers and pretty much everything else on the menu. Highly recommend this place. People that work there are so nice and friendly“

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.

“The sushi is so fresh and yummy! I ordered the salmon and mango sushi burrito with eel sauce and it was delicious. High quality sushi burritos are hard to find, but I definitely recommend these! The burrito came with a drink and was $16 (a great deal imo!). I ordered delivery and the food arrived fresh.“

“I got a really good chicken chow mein lunch special, fried wontons, and bean curd skin. The chow mein and rice were amazing and the fried wontons were very good. The wontons were a bit sweet and doughy for my taste, but still enjoyable. The bean curd skin was great. It came with seaweed salad which I wasn't expecting. Everyone I was with also enjoyed their dishes. The only complaint was $2.00 for rice on the hibachi dish was too much for what you actually got.
I will be getting food from here again and would be interested in dining in.“

“Came for dinner with my family and every single thing we ordered came quick, steaming hot, and tasted amazing. Highly recommend getting their veggie stir fried rice, general tsos chicken, pad Thai, and all of the appetizers. Servers are all very attentive and so kind. Asia star is always improving their menu and it’s clear in every meal. We will be back again and again and again.“

“I have edited my review. I went back after 2 years and the food and service have completely deteriorated. The food is bad now. The chicken is hard and seems uncooked. The service is bad now they messed up my order and they didn't even apologize and just hung up. I hate writing this review because this place used to be my favorite.“

“Highly recommend! In a strip Mall but the place has a great atmosphere and there is so much selection. We just got green and red curry Thai which was generous and some of the best I’ve had . I understand what people are saying about having to wait a long time for their order to be ready. I wish they accepted online payment for pickup orders because it seems that they don’t start cooking orders until customers come in and pay.“

“Yum! Usually only do take out here, but their sushi is fantastic. Have never been disappointed. Try the sweetheart roll or surprisingly enough, if you are craving something with a bit of mango with a nice tuna- try the Mexican roll! Both creative and pleasing to the taste buds.
