“My husband and I happened to read about Vive Bene while looking for a place to go to dinner for a rare date night. I need a place that offers gluten free items and this place popped up. I checked out the online menu (which does vary slightly from their new menu) and was sold! Not one single thing disappointed. Drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert all tasted incredible - dessert made from scratch 😋!! The staff were all incredible, friendly, and attentive. Our server, Bailee, was the best! She was very attentive to my food allergy and fantastic with recommendations, and we felt right at home with her! The water stayed full as did our bellies 😂. The atmosphere was also cozy yet had an elegance to it. 10/10 recommend and we can’t wait to go back to try another meal!“

“I have been coming here for easily 25 years (time flies!) for 2 or 3 times a year as it's easily a 45 min. drive for me. It's the best Italian food I've ever had in the US. The muscles for an appetizer are extremely fresh and bread keeps coming and all the entrees I've tried have been excellent. The ambience is tasteful and comfortable.“

“I've now been there three times for lunch. We split a burger and cheese steak on the first visit. Both were excellent. Owner Gus brought out a couple of slices of pizza for us to try. Both were so good, I decided to go for the Eggplant pizza on my second vist. I was there again yesterday with a party of three, a pizza, eggplant parm on a seeded roll, and an amazing chicken cutlet sandwich. Highly recommend for food, service, and friendly staff.“

“We did a catering order 3 hours ahead a time. The store was very busy inside and on line orders were crazy. We arrive to pick and it wasup not ready. We waited for 45 minutes. The chicken parm was dry. The past was not as hot as it should have been. Just not happy with that order and the wait.“

“Really good! Late afternoon meal and only had lunch food but all was super good. I consider myself a Burger officianado and the Hitzel burger was incredible. Fries had awesome seasoning. The small stromboli was huge. Staff was super friendly. We stopped there because it is a byob and a favorite brewery of mine is only 50 yards away so had some fresh brew with a great meal.“

“This new Italian restaurant in Mays Landing is fabulous. The food and presentation were excellent, the atmosphere was appealing, and the service was caring.

My wife and I had the chopped salad and butternut squash ravioli as appetizers. Both were unique and delicious, and their presentation was exactly like the pictures.

Our entrees were shellfish pomodoro and linguini with clams. The pasta was homemade and the sauce perfectly spiced. The shellfish was fresh and extremely tasty. We cannot wait to try other entrees.

We strongly urge you to try Carmella’s. You will be pleased with the experience.“

“First time at this place tonight, I've been all over for pizza but this place here tops them all! I've learned they also have a place on the boardwalk AC which was rated number 1 out of 6 places that were tested! I'll never go anywhere else again, this was just a quick stop on the way home from work.... I found a pizza gold mine. Also it's not just the pizza, it's family owned & the owner I met tonight is one hell of a guy. Can't give this place enough credit. Class A Class A“

“I highly recommend this restaurant, not only they have delicious food, their staff are also very professional, polite,and very well trained. Tonight I ordered food and I realized that my can of pepsi is not there and I asked the driver Tom where my pepsi is? and he said he didnt have it and he will go back to the restaurant and deliver it back to my house. So, since it is only 1 can of pepsi that was missing from my order, so I told him not to bother bringing it back because its not a big deal for me. so he said are you sure? I said yes. Few minutes later after I was done eating and really craving for my pepsi, I heard a door bell, and it was tom! came back and delivered my pepsi! I was more statisfied about my dinner! Ninos management should recognize staff like tom! he is by far the most sweet, polite and professional delivery person I have ever encountered. Great job Tom!“
