“We have been going to villa rifichi for a while now, inside and delivery is great. the food is super well cooked. the service is pretty good, unless there is lots of people. then, it get a little chaotic. but def understandable. their pizza is the best.“
“The food and Service are top notch. I had stopped going years ago but am so glad we had our family Christmas celebration here and it was fantastic. They went above and beyond. We've been numerous times since and each time is better than before. Portions are insane!“
“My wife and I went here for the first time. We both had the cheeseburger sliders and fries and we really enjoyed it. The sliders seemed to be house made and were cooked perfectly. As we entered, we both were both greeted by the bartender, and she let us know we could sit where we like. She came around from the bar and started us with drinks. The waitress was very friendly and the food came quickly. I can honestly say we enjoyed the warmth of the welcoming staff and good food and drink. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“
“Simply the best pie in town!!! I grew up in Absecon but don’t live there anymore. Every time I visit, I MUST order a pie from here. It’s incredible every time! Despite rising costs of pretty much everything these days, they do not skimp on ingredients here - tons of cheese, etc. The pie is simply done right with uncompromising quality.“
“We celebrated our “50th” Anniversary at Chef Vola’s today. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Besides the food being amazing our waiter Anthony literally made our Anniversary special. We will definitely be coming back a lot. This place is “AMAZING”. Real old school Italian.“
“From start to finish one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Alex our server was terrific and made our experience even more pleasurable. The food was incredible. The ribeye was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. It was like butter. Our apps and drinks were awesome as well. Cannot wait to go “
“Great experience from start to finish! We had the most amazing view of the ocean. The service was top notch and the food was incredible! I would definitely put this restaurant on your list as a must try!! The only problem we had was deciding what dishes we wanted to try. The menu has so many traditional Italian favorites but table next to us ordered the steak. It looks so delicious. I am coming back next time to give that a try.“
“Hands down best French onion soup in Atlantic County. I'm a long time customer and this is my neighborhood bar. The drinks are cold. The bartenders are feisty. There's not a bad meal on the menu. The hardest part about going is deciding what to eat, because it's all great!“
“The appetizers could have more in them. We order calamari, Bag bag shrimp, zucchini wedges and the eggplant rollantini. The portions small. The entrees were amazing. The fresh pasta and sauces were spectacular. The dessert were delicious as well.“
“Food was delicious. Appetizer: Thai triple delight , fried jumbo shrimp and crab cakes were large portions and all excellent. Server: Kimberly was a pleasure to have taking care of us. Famous Pizza bread was huge and tasty. Had alot to take home. We had an overall pleasant indoor dining experience. Sat in comfy side room in large booth ,,much less noisy away from the bar crowd loud talkers. On a negative note …Suggestion: just outdoor upon leaving back entrance of restaurant we encountered 6 smokers puffing away as we were blocked from walking around them and had to inhale an unwanted cloud of secondhand smoke. Not something we appreciated after a fine dinner.Didn’t see any signage of outdoor designated smoking area that would have helped in this area of concern.“
“It’s hard to find a good pizza place, because everyone is making pizza now a days. So when I found Carluccio’s. It has changed how I like my pizza.Hands down one of the BEST locations to get pizza. I’ve always came here for their Specialty Pizza and I’ve tired them all and they are really really good.Couple of days ago, I arrived like 5 mins before they will close and their kitchen staff went above and beyond to make me a fresh pizza. Now that’s exceptional customer service. This is made me their loyal customer. No many business will do that. But Carluccio’s is one of a kind.“
“There are four very good reasons why this highly rated restaurant is so hard to get into.First they only accept reservations two weeks in advance made over the telephone.Second, it’s tiny, around 35 tables, so demand outstrips seats available. I’d call it an intimate dining atmosphere.Third, the service is top notch that works as a precision team to pamper you. Waiter. Supporting staff. Table side Performers. But what’s most important, this is some of the finest Italian food you’ll ever eat.We started with classic clams casino - a special that evening and SOOOOO GOOD.Table side Caesar was a fun experience with a payoff - one of the best versions a I’ve had.My wife had the lobster tails and shrimp scampi combo with the most delish spinach side.I had the veal parm on the bone with classic side of spaghetti in red sauce.Unfeakingbelieveable.Ranks up there with the best fine Italian dining I’ve experienced as a traveling salesperson 30 years across the USA eating at the best of the best in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Los Angelos, London. This spot is Top 10 stuff.Drinks of bourbon old fashioneds were strong and perfectly stirred. My wife’s after dinner cappuccino was delish.“
“One of the best "random restaurant while traveling" experiences I've ever had in my life. Food was absolutely top notch. Our server (Tyler) was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Portions were plentiful, atmosphere was casual but spotlessly clean. And surprisingly inexpensive. Wholeheartedly recommend.“
“Charming bayside locals joint in AC!As a native to AC who has moved out of the region AC has some delightful surprises, even for the non-casino crowd. The concierge crew at the AC Convention Center recommended Scannicchios for a Thursday night post conference dinner. It was heartwarmingly friendly and the food was sone of the best in AC. Trust me I would know…. Long ago an old BF was the chef at Doc’s Oyster House. If you are looking for a home away from home, you could not ask for a better crew than their Thursday night trivia teams. Fun. Relaxing. Real folks who are friendly and cool. Enjoy!! Pro tip they will be expanding over the summer to make more room for more fun with more people.Dietary restrictions: The burrata and the pork were made perfectly for my gluten free allergy. Thank you!“
“Had a really great dinner here this past Saturday. My wife and I both, my son had chicken with broccoli pasta in a white wine cream sauce. My daughter had rigatoni in oil and garlic. We also had a Cesar salad and their tomato tortellini soup. Everything was good, the soup was fantastic. Our waitress was also really great and attentive. I would definitely come back again.“
“I’ve been here a few times and the food is so delicious! It’s BYOB which I love. The calamari is one of the best around. Ventures used to be top notch but not so much the last few times. Can’t wait to go back for another scrumptious meal!“
“I came here with my dad while visiting AC for a concert, and we had a good experience. Our entrees and salads tasted good, service was prompt and responsive, and the atmosphere was cool, old-school Jersey Italian. We arrived within 15 mins of the restaurant opening for dinner service and it seemed pretty full for that time. Would definitely return.“
“Supremely tasty food and very friendly staff! We had the Masala Fries, which were perfectly crisp and tossed with a flavorful blend of spices. The Chilli Chicken was served in a tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce brimming with soy and fresh ginger. We also ordered Kheemo, a shredded egg dish served with rounds of toast on the side, and it was just as tasty as the other two. We’ll definitely be returning soon!“
“Love the Red Room. Family owned and operated, they make you feel like a special guest, more than just a patron. The food is incredible using only the finest ingredients and made fresh daily. The pizza is made in thier own wood fired oven and is one of a kind. Do forget to B.Y.O.B. Don't tell anyone about this fabulos dining establishment, its hard enough to get a table as it is ; )We will be going back again and again and again......Bon Appetit!“
“Great Italian food with prompt and friendly service. I would suggest making a reservation on weekends and for larger parties.Vegetarian options: Numerous pasta dishes and salads.Dietary restrictions: If you have specific dietary restrictions the chef will accommodate your request. It's always better to call ahead to make sure.“
“First time here visiting from Delaware we ordered thw pepperoni pizza cheesesteak Supreme Pizza and fresh chicken wings everything was so so good the family was so nice and welcoming so glad we stumbled across this place and we have leftovers to take home both out medium pizzas looked like larges definitely will be back...“
“Wonderful Waitstaff, Manager and Owner made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious including Crab Ravioli, Salmon in a lemon, dill caper cream sauce, Cod Puttanesca, Calzone and Baked Penne.Definitely returning to sample more!Dietary restrictions: GF friendly.Kid-friendliness: Families present.“
“Loved everything about it. Kenny is the one who got us in. He was very helpful. Although the name is unknown, that does not mean anything. The food was great. The red sauce was fantastic. The meatballs were great. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is great, good jazzy music like Sinatra, old black and white mafia movies on TVs on the wall and dimly lit, nice and relaxing. Also the view of the ocean is great too!Vegetarian options: There are.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes al on one floor there are elevators in ballys“
“We stopped here for their happy hour special last Saturday and we were so happy that we did. The food was delicious and the prices were great. We got the meatball sliders, chicken cutlet sandwich and wings. Everything tasted homemade. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband had a beer and I got an old fashion. It was one of the best drinks I have ever had. The servers were on their toes. And the bar had a fun atmosphere. It was small but fun. We can't wait to go back. I love how the chocolatier, bar and pizza place are connected to eat other. Amazing part of the orange loop!“
“Cordivari’s will not disappoint! They offer an amazing, authentic Italian dining experience in Brigantine. Family owned and operated and their love for serving their guests begins at the door with a warm greeting by Toni and Carmen. The food was piping hot and delicious! My new favorite is their Pasta Giacomo. Home made pasta, hot peppers and an abundance of their home made meatballs all mixed together with their amazing sauce. It’s to die for! Highly recommended on all levels. Excellent food, service and ambience. And reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for excellence in dining!“
“So many visitors to Atlantic City come to this block to visit White House Subs and miss out on the actual best landmark on the block that is Formica Bros Bakery right across the street. The bakery that creates the bread which is the real star of those famous sandwiches. Everything i have ever gotten from this tiny cafe and bakery is outstanding including the bread, pastries and baked goods and chocolate covered delights as well as their cannolis and tomato pie slices. The tomato pie actually deserves its own sentence to acknowledge how great it is; the bread and crust have a great crunch consistency and chew in all the right places and the sauce is exceptionally well balanced no too sweet and not too tart. just right and rivals any u will find in Philly or South Jersey. I also enjoy and the different sweet bread breakfast loaves and muffins. They also have several cakes that i have never tried but based on all my other experiences would no think twice about getting if need for a special occasion. Lastly I must say they make some of the best non chain store coffees, espressos and lattes i have ever had anywhere in the country and are a must pickup whenever i am driving by and need a quick pick me up for the ride home to PA. The staff is extra friendly and quick to help u pick the best item for your needs. And for such a small store it is incredibly comfortable, clean and well laid out to fit a whole lot of food and a few tables looking out onto Arctic Ave. Love these old authentic independent stores and will always be a visitor as long as we both are around.“
“I ordered a 3-bone prime rib for an early Christmas dinner and it was phenomenal. Very good quality/cut of meat and delicious. The employees were also very helpful and nice. I would definitely order from there again and I can’t wait to try the rest of their products.“
“Loved Superfrico! Fun and energetic vibes. Very enjoyable spontaneous entertainment by the performers of The Hook..which I saw last visit to AC. Food is delicious with a unique twist and generous portions. Staff is fun, friendly and accommodating. Also enjoyed the walk thru of the horse dive bar. Bring put ur inner child...have a cocktail the horse dove bar, dinner at superfrico and complete the night by seeing The Hook! Looking forward to my next visit.“
“I think I’d stick with their yummy sandwiches, which are very good. The roast beef is top notch, as is corned beef. The wings sound good but haven’t tried them. Something is off with the pizza. Is it the sauce? I’m unsure but it’s not good.“
“First time at this place tonight, I've been all over for pizza but this place here tops them all! I've learned they also have a place on the boardwalk AC which was rated number 1 out of 6 places that were tested! I'll never go anywhere else again, this was just a quick stop on the way home from work.... I found a pizza gold mine. Also it's not just the pizza, it's family owned & the owner I met tonight is one hell of a guy. Can't give this place enough credit. Class A Class A“
“Soon as we walked in we were greeted , handled real professionally staff has amazing customer service and recommendations were top tier. Food was a big portion enough to share with two people which is a plus ! Will return here .Parking: Park in Tropicana casino get on the elevators and press C soon as you come out carmines is downstairs .“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐What can I say about this gem of a pizza place? From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. ? The family-run atmosphere adds an extra layer of charm, and you can tell that every dish is made with love and care. The food? Absolutely delicious! ? Whether you're a fan of classic pies or adventurous toppings, they've got you covered. But what really sets this place apart is their dedication to supporting the community. ? It's evident in everything they do, from sourcing local ingredients to supporting fundraisers. It's rare to find a business that truly gives back like this.Overall, if you're looking for amazing pizza, a welcoming atmosphere, and a place that cares about its community, look no further. This place is a must-visit! ?2 amazing sisters ❤️“
“Vegetarian options: It is an excellent Italian restaurant where there are non-meat items. Vegans may not have much of a variety.Dietary restrictions: La PizzaTega will accommodate dietary restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: Meets ADA standards.“
“Pretty decent pizza.. fair price and huge and pretty delicious. You can order by slice or order whole pizza... you can make half and half..Garlic bread was okay... not the best as they claim but maybe it's because we ordered for take out.But this restaurant has killer vibe tho, nice atmosphere.Recommend here for sure.“
“Veal Parm so good I cleaned the plate and forgot to take a pic lol. Veal was breaded just right and very tender. Tomato sauce was great I really loved the fresh basil in there sauce was not acidic really made well. I came in place was busy and I had no reservation thank you Jillian for taking good care of me and thanks to the staff for making such great food I happened to be at another store in the strip and the delicious smell of food lured me into Gaspares !“
“The food overall was very good. We had the eggplant appetizer which was excellent. The marinara was fantastic. My fiancé had the pappardelle which she enjoyed very much. I had the Lasagna which was a generous portion and the flavor was great but, it wasn't heated all the way through and cold in the center. The service was excellent considering only one waiter was working about 10!or so tables and also taking care of the hosting and bussing duties. He handled it very well but, because I felt bad he was working so hard I didn't want to bother him with sending the lasagna back to be heated. I would definitely recommend it and intend to try it again.“
“Just came back from dinner here. Everything about it was wonderful: the setting, ambiance, menu choices, service, wine, apps, and entrees. The only thing that knocked it off of a 5 star rating? We were shocked by the portion size of the pasta trio sharing plates. Each portion of each of the three pastas was not even a half portion...only three or four forkfuls, at most, each. Not worth 58 USD. We would have been better off ordering two regular plates at 22-28 each, and sharing those. The pastas themselves were delicious, however! And, the carpaccio Girasole was the best carpaccio I have ever tasted.“
“Sal's is a great place for family, couples, kids and parents. They have another room in which you can have meetings, banquets, birthday parties, or any other affairs. My son's team won the Somers Point Street Hockey Championship and we had our banquet and celebration there. The staff was very accommodating, efficient, fast, friendly and very attentive for anything that we needed. I will be going back to Sal's again.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I would think that pizza would be vegetarian. And then you had to add green peppers onions and other vegetarian items.Dietary restrictions: I'm not a dietitian, I think they have some gluten-free stuff not sure.Parking: You pull right off on route 9 they have on one end either an entrance exit and on the other end of the strip mall they have another entrance and exit. Parking was very very easy.Kid-friendliness: Well we had our 13-15 year old championship street hockey team there. There were kids all over. It's a very very friendly place to bring your kids, family, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, Uncle, Aunt, or cousins.Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very easy with someone in a wheelchair to get in and out of the parking lot and restaurant.“
“I had the flight of soups which consist of 3 small cups of Crab and corn chowder, Lobster bisque and French onion. All three were absolutely delicious and coupled with the Bah Mi sandwich that I split we're talking one satisfying meal!“
“Stumbled upon this place looking for Italian and so glad we popped in! The food was amazing. I've been to Italy and have to say this is pretty darn close if not exactly what I remember! The resturant was cute (small) but clean and they had very efficient service! We tried the braised rib with polenta (10/10 recommend. It was so tender and delicious) and we also tried the special of the night which was home made tortellini with crab and shrimp..again amazing! It is BYOB (all they have is water so definitely bring another beverage if you want something other than water). It is on the expensive side but not when you see and taste what your getting. Its worth the money and the portions were big! We will be back!“
“I recently dined at Italian Street Restaurant & Pizza. My wife had calzone and I decided to go with the Tour of Italy Pasta, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and rich, truly transporting me to Italy with each bite. I must say, it did not disappoint! The service was fast, attentive, and courteous. The staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.“
“Really good spot! Went two nights in a row and it was solid both times. Bartenders were quick(and one guy was really funny). Food was pretty good, decent selection of beers for pretty cheap. The only thing I disliked was the volume in the place. Music was pretty loud, couldn't really have a conversation.“
“Food was amazing. The workers were amazing. The restaurant was beautiful. Food was freshly made and it was definitely worth the wait. Definitely will be back. 10/10 Thank you Atlantic City Pizza & Mexican Restaurant.. I highly recommen Bring your family“
“Our server was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious from the appetizers, salad and meal. The mocha tequila martini was delicious and refreshing. Romanelli's is clean, beautifully decorated and refreshing. 5 Stars all the way! Definitely going back to try more of this fabulous food! Kim G.“
“Just had Primo Hoagies for the first time of my life and I’m seriously wondering why I haven’t gone sooner. What an awesome sandwich. The bread is fire and the meats/cheeses are high quality. Can’t wait to go back and try other sandwiches ?.“
“Walked upon this restaurant once I left the nail salon.Told the nice waitress that it was my birthday. The owner/cook went and made me a heart shaped pizza.( This was the best pizza pie that i had ever tasted). The establishment had a good atmosphere and ambience. Will be coming back once I'm here in New Jersey.“
“Nice clean, family friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was good too. We spent quite a bit for a family of 5 with 2 appetizers. No drinks. We all had waters. $160 plus tip. So kind of pricey. But overall fairly worth the price. Inflation is awful so I’m guessing that’s why it’s so expensive, but overall food was tasty. Everyone in the fam ate pretty good. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Not overbearing, but just enough. You can tell they’re a great team. It’s definitely VERY clean. Which is a HUGE plus to me!“
“This is a favorite place for us. We get take out but the food is always hot and delicious. Tonight I ordered Large Chef Salad and it was awsum!! I recommend the salad to anyone looking for a cold entreeParking: I never have problem with parking in lot or on street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available for Micchelli's. Also in winter months they have parking lot & entrance way clear of snow and ice.“
“Best restaurant experience I've had. Last year all I did was work work and work starting New Year's Eve. I promise my wife that I will take her out to every high restaurant Atlantic City. I am not gonna bad name or badmouth, high-end restaurants. Just like wonderful art beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, not even as expensive as these well-known famous chef named establishments Capriccio's hands-down. The best restaurant I've ever been to everything was 100% mainly the meal, the service the atmosphere. Harry Hurley in the morning which I was able to meet there in the main dining room was 100% right when he says that is the number one restaurant in Atlantic City!!! I will be spoiling my wife with this wonderful place every time I have a chance !!! I cannot wait until summertime because they also boast outside seating. Weather permitting, and my wife loves to eat outdoors! This will be forever, my number one spot for family for visitors for friends. I have never been so impressed in all my life. Carlos I hope I'm gonna spell his last name correctly Majero. What amazing service. And everybody around him on the night that Tony Orlando sang in his last tour. I wish I could remember everyone's name but what a team that worked absolutely amazing together that night. My wife and I have decided to become regulars before any show that we are going to go see in Atlantic City. Granted all the other restaurants give you a wonderful experience, but there is a reason why Capriccio is number one. Thank you, “
“We have ordered from romans a number of times. never disappoints. the food is always better than the last time. the grandma style pizza is a delight to the taste buds, its just incredible a pizza, its very fresh tasting. the garlic knots are marvelous. they taste perfectly done, another one of our favs. The wraps are perfect, and we would say most people would like romans pizza house. the service is good, regardless of the reviews. the atmosphere is not the best, its kind of squished, and if their is a lot a people in the restaurant, it can get congested. better of going home and eating. overall, this place is a great option if you are in the area:)“
