“Ordered three pizzas for takeout. The two I tried were very good. The white pizza has nice size gobs of ricotta to go with the cheese and hint of garlic oil. Joey's special was also very good, with a crust that is just the right consistency between pillowy and crunchy. We ordered online, which somehow avoided the 3% credit card fee (the fee is the reason for the deducted star). You can also order via Slice (which charges a flat fee that might be cheaper for larger orders).“

“We got speakeasy pizza twice on our vacation and we're very satisfied each time. Being from NJ, I've missed the pizza. I know shore pizza isn't quite the same as regular Jersey pizza, but this was pretty good! The fries are also good too--nice and crispy, so they survive the drive back to your beach house okay.“

“We have been living here in Manahawkin full time for several years now. We passed Russo's hundreds of times but never ate there until this evening. We thought the place was a local pizza joint. Born and raised in Brooklyn we just never thought to give the place a shot, i mean no point right?Wrong. We were getting together with friends for dinner, they said lets go to Russo's, we figured ahh what the hell.Wow what a great meal and great experience. The menu is simple the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Erin was accommodating, and pleasant. She was gracious as well even though we were there an hour past closing time. The food is clean not over seasoned, and they are a BYOB establishment. We had, perfectly fried gallamad (calamari for you non Brooklynites) flat bread, brooklyn bolognese , chicken saltimbocca, pork chop saltimbocca all perfectly cooked.Highly recommend them for a good meal at a reasonable price, and great service. Well done team Russo's. We will be seeing you again soon.“
“Had a large Xtra cheese pizza. I'll give another half star for 41/2 stars. We ate in and I think they wanted to satisfy us too quickly. Pizza was very good, another minute in the oven and 5 stars for food. Service, good and friendly and atmosphere is typical. Give it a try!“
“We three had an amazing dinner. Calamari for an appetizer was tender and flavorful. Our entrees that followed were the flounder franchese, potato crusted cod and from the daily specials, the Chilean sea bass. Each entree was incredibly delicious and so tasty. Our waitress, Ashley and the busboys who assisted her were wonderful. We were never without fresh water and any request was immediately honored. If we could provide a 10 star review we would. “Always got pizza from there and it was very good. Went to eat pizza there and found their menu extensive and appetizing. Had the eggplant parm and a fried calamari appetizer. Calamari was the best I have ever had. Fried lightly. Crispy and not greasy at all. Salad bar was also included. Have been back a number of times and they are always enjoyable on multiple levels.“

“Ordered online on Friday night as we were heading to LBI for the weekend. It was ready when we got there a half hour later. We ordered two small pizzas (they only have small and large), garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. Everything was good! I love garlic knots and rarely have them. These were great!“

The store is very well stocked with all kinds of imported dry goods like imported specialty balsamic vinegars, olive oils, and store prepared foods! The “olive case” looked amazing and the deli meats and sandwiches looked even better! The cookie counter has tons of Italian cookies and pastries! They even have these nice cheese boards with their logo on them (shout out to the girl behind the counter who Hooke us up!!!! Very nice gift for someone… or even just for yourself! “Made a reservation for a birthday, party of ten. They had us all set up in a big room with a server ready to go as soon as I got there. Wine glasses, ice buckets c water, etc. Emily was a gem! Service was perfect. We all ordered different items. Everyone loved their food. I had the shrimp francais. Best I ever had, and I'm picky because I cook a lot. Food was nice and hot . After dinner our plates were cleared and Emily wrapped all our leftovers for us. Highly recommend Pietros for your next dinner choice .“

When my daughter was a senior during the pandemic they had an adopt a senior program and the senior I adopted wanted a Ray's pizza because he loved it. Finally I got a chance to try it out. I'm not going to lie it's a bit of a dive but clean.The people are extremely pleasant and it seemed to be a family run business.Straight out of the oven our delicious thin crusted pizza came out and we started to drool just a little. Compared to some thin crust pizza places I would consider this pizza to be medium in crust, they used real cheese because the pizza actually had oil coming off.A bunch of pizza places have got cheap using cheap mozzarella or adding provolone,this place used good cheese! The first slice I had was delicious but after that the second the sauce was a little sweet. I think I devoured my first slice. Overall this pizza place deserves a solid 4!!I would definitely go again.“
“I've only been in the Manahawkin location to pick up some slices (bomb af), but I have been over a friends house and had delivery from them. They hand wrote a message in the speech bubble on the front of the box, referring to the conversation they had while my friend was ordering over the phone. I forget exactly what it said, but it was clever and endearing ?The couple times I've been in to pick up slices, the counter staff were very pleasant and accommodating!Parking: Depending on day of the week and time of day, parking can be iffy. Fridays and weekend evenings are obviously busier. Good for them!“
“Had dinner here last Friday. Was going to get Restaurant Week menu but decided on prime rib instead, husband stayed with RW menu. Ordered espresso martini (delicious) soup was beef vegetable, not much beef but delicious!! Bread is the best I've had down here!! Just as good as North Jersey if not better! Would have been happy just to eat that all night! Prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly, baked potato excellent with sour cream and chives! Husband loved his pork chop, it was a little dry but he had some leftover the next day and said it tasted even better then! Waitress and manager were wonderful, attentive and friendly!! This very possibly could be my new favorite restaurant! Will be back many times! Almost forgot to mention prices are so affordable that we can afford to eat here often!“
“Once again Isola did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional! If you have not tried the stuffed olives for an appetizer, they are a MUST! We also shared the fig pizza which was done to perfection! For dinner, my one cousin and I had the Spaghettini a la Arrabbiata ( a new item on the men) and was DELICIOUS! The rest of my family had the Branzino and short ribs which were out of this world! From entering the restaurant, my family and I were greeted enthusiastically ( and with a big smile!) by Bella at the front desk, we were seated promptly and our server Maureen, continued that warm and enthusiastic hospitality once we were seated and that same level of hospitality continued throughout our time dining.
