“I had the pleasure to eat at Konoz. It is a clean and neat restaurant. The owner is friendly and pleasant. I asked him what he recommended and I placed the order to eat inside. The meat was tender and tasty, the salad was a good portion and trifongo was delicious. I chatted briefly with the owner. It’s a place I would go again when in the area.“

“A staple in the North of Newark. Definitely a locals spot with a ever growing clientele. this spot looks small in the front but it has a banquet hall, pool table and bar area. If you go by, say "hi" to Cheito (the owner). Tell him "Nani" sent you ;)“

“Love Me Casa food. Been eating their food since the start and they never disappoint. Everything has so much flavor. My favs of course are the alcapurias and the empanadas... but EVERYTHING is delicious.“

“I’ve been coming here since they first opened. They have the best chicken and salmon I’ve ever had. The chicken is always very juicy and everything is fresh. The mixed vegetables are my favorite. every time I come they are extremely nice and welcoming 10 out of 10 !“

“The food was a 10/10 for me! Everything was delicious and tasted so authentic. The owner was super sweet, attentive, and friendly, and our waiter was just as great. He gave us some really good recommendations, and the service was super duper fast. They checked on us frequently and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. “EXCELLENT. We’re a Puerto Rican family and just didn’t feel like cooking this Christmas. Ordered arroz con gandules, pernil, pastelon, mini empanadas, alcapurias, papá rellena, and Pasteles. Everything was PERFECT. We will definitely be back.“

“Quick stop in after passing by so many times. Wanted check it out and to try the soup. Well...food looked so good and fresh decided to dine in for lunch special (which was being served all day today),let me tell you, best decision we made all day. Clean, nice seating, music not loud and dinner size portion. We both had a to go bag enough for dinner.
Waitress was pleasant. Service was quick. Overall a 10+
Definitely a return for breakfast.

“I want to Thank “The Weekend Spot” for their EXCELLENT service over the weekend. I have an all day event Brunch and BBQ for family. The food was GREAT our taste buds were delighted with every bite. Their service was clean and every need was meet. The Delivery and times was on point. I can’t Thank YOU enjoy we still talking about those sweet potato pancakes and crab home fries. And every side BBQ dish and the chicken I can go on and on. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND “The Weekend Spot” for all your catering needs. See for my next event definitely!“
