The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. “This is a small coffee and cake shop in a large space of slot machines and food halls, which are usually in malls. I do not know if there are enough connoisseurs of the exquisite taste of these cakes in that place. But the cakes were very fresh and delicious. Wonderful coffee and a very friendly girl served me, carefully bringing the brewed coffee to the table in a large food space. Here you can also buy a wonderful cake. very tasty!“

I tried to tell the waited but he wouldn't give me the time of day and the last thing for 5 of us he added 15% to the bill clearly marked tip. with the space empty for me to fill in more. “I had went to three different bakery trying to get a specific design a cake and was turned away . Finally I was recommended by a friend to to see Emily at Bella Vida pastry . Im glad I did ,I have to say my goddaughter sweet 16 turned out so beautiful it was more then we expected we sent her a picture and she matched it to the tee, and it tasted amazing. Wide selection, all freshly backed, wonderfully friendly staff and the cherry on top is the actually fair prices in a time when almost nothing feels like that. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I am new to the area (I’m a Jersey convert… sorry Brooklyn!!) and always notice this cute place when I visit the park. I’ve always wanted to go but I’m trying to lose weight and I’m on the keto diet (sorry but no keto options here).

Well my grandmother was visiting me so I finally decided to have a cheat meal and cheat treat it was!!!! ? It was delicious!!!

It is pretty expensive as far as getting ice cream goes but the quality and texture was absolutely perfect ?. We love getting the soft serve ice cream. I’ve tried cherry ? dipped cone, vanilla sundae with hot fudge and pineapples and the Italian ice! There were all marvelous!!!!

When I saw that it is a young girl and a little bit older woman working behind the counter each time we visit… it seems like it is a family business and I don’t mind spending a little more to support their ventures. The young lady was extremely kind and friendly every time we visit. It’s hard to find kind young souls these days and she’s a gem ? in the rough. Very sweet family, they can have my money!!

I always get something for myself and for my grandma while she stays with me for a few weeks and now it is grammas favorite place to go!!!!

I’ll be sad to call it quits when I start my diet again but it’s been a fun and memorable summer treat. You can walk up here from the park and enjoy the fresh night air

“Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!!
