“Probably one of the best, if not THE BEST, Lahori /Pakistani restaurants in the US. The street food style menu is such a unique and authentic experience.

We tried the paratha rolls which were perfectly spiced, wrapped in flaky paratha with amazing chutneys and the crispy chicken sandwiches that were huge, juicy, and packed with desi inspired flavors. The gappa chaat was a showstopper too, tangy, spicy, fresh, and beautifully presented.

The place has such a cool, authentic vibe with vibrant murals and a welcoming atmosphere. Even the washrooms were extremely nice and well kept (wish I had taken a picture to show that)

“New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

“Just found it on the way to our hotel when we stop at dominoes pizza ,so I just enter the restaurant and order burns road chutney paratha roll and mayo garlic roll and falooda for me and my husband. And don’t regret at all . Amazing food. And having authentic falooda after so long. I must say falooda was actually the hit better than Toronto. (We are visiting newyork from toronto.) very near by to our uncle’s home. So we will definitely stop by next visit to newyork for falooda for sure.“

I would have liked them fried just a little harder so you'll have to make that request, if you're like me. My only issue was I called a few days in advance to understand the procedure when ordering a large quantity of wings. On the day to order, they completely switched up on me and made me come in to pick them up immediately and when I got there, they didn't have my order ready at the time they insisted I be there. Although, I dropped everything (cooking for the party) to get there at the time they told me. Upon arriving, I received attitude because I didn't leave a name, even though they never asked me. I ended up waiting another 30 mins for my order. It cost me 1.5 hours total and I was really late for my party. I will try not to hold this against them because it was really busy for them.
